Kelsey was so deeply into her book that she didn't even noticed that the door to the library opened and someone walked in. The steps got closer and someone cleared their throat. Still there was no reaction from the girl.
Theo slit down next to her taking in her vanilla scent before pulling out one of the girls headphones before he whispered. " What are you reading? It must be really interesting if you didn't even noticed someone entering the library."
Kelsey turned to face the intruder with a murderous expression on her face. Couldn't she just have one moment of peace? She glared daggers at Theo before she opened her mouth. "What do you want" she hissed through gritted teeth.
Theo looked at her with a smirk on his face at her annoyed expression as he answered her question. "Nothing I'm just bored" He said as he took the book out of Kelsey hand to look what she was currently reading.
The girl ripped the book out of his grasp before she got up from the floor and gathered her things. "Why don't you go annoy someone else?" She asked in a angry voice before she left the library.
Theo didn't even considered to leave Kelsey alone he was having way to much fun in annoying her. he got up from the floor and rushed after her.
The Gilbert girl was looking for a place she could continue to read her book in peace when she heard footsteps behind her. She rolled her eyes as she turned around "Seriously, Montgomery take a hint." She spat into his face while making her way to the girls restroom the only place she could think of that Theo wouldn't follow her like a lost puppy.
After a few minutes she slightly opened the door to push her head through it she looked around and was met with Theo who had a smug grin spread across his face and gave her a small wave. She rolled her eyes at him before she closed the door again an waited until the Schoolbell rang.
She let out a puff of air as she made her way to her locker. Now relaxed as she couldn't see Aria's annoying brother anywhere. She spotted Davina who was about to enter the cafeteria when she stopped in her tracks and turned around with a smile.
Kelsey got as quickly as her healed shoes allowed her to Davina and they entered the cafeteria together. "Everything okay, Kat?" She asked as she looked at her friend. Who had a slightly annoyed expression on her face
"Don't ask just Aria's older brother really pissed me off." She answered as she looked trough the packed cafeteria. She glanced at her friends before she turned to Davina.
"Do you want to eat outside?" She asked not in the mood for so many people.
Davina looked at her confused. As she got her tray. She thought for a moment before answering. "It's okay you can seat with your friends." The brunette said not wanting to bother her new friend.
Kelsey gently grabbed Davina by the arm and pulled her out of the cafeteria. they made their way outside and sat down at an empty table.
"I think my friends can do a lunch without me." She said before she took a bite from her apple.
They sat a few minutes in silence when Kelsey spoke up again. "So, you decided which after school activity your interested in?" She asked as she looked eyes with the brunette in front of her.
Davina swallowed her food before answering her question. "I'm not sure yet. What are you and your friends doing she asked curiously.
Kelsey thought for a moment before she responded. "Em is in the swim team, me and Spence are in the Field hockey team." She stopped mid sentence as she saw Nolan who was sitting on a bench listening to music while eating his lunch.
She got up and mumbled an 'I'm right back' as she sauntered off to Nolan. Davina looked after her confused at what was going on.
As she reached him she plopped down beside him making him drop his food as he anxiously looked beside him. He relaxed as he saw it was only Kelsey. He pulled out one of his headphones glancing at her with an expectingly look on his face.
"Do you want to eat lunch with me?" She asked seeing that he was all by himself.
He looked at her with wide eyes as he stuttered "W- with your friends?"
Seeing how anxious he got she put a hand on his arm to calm him down what made him blush furiously.
"It's okay Nolan. It's just me and Davina." She said in a soft voice as she looked up at him with a resuring smile. Nolan looked at her slowly nodding his head.
Kelsey took his tray and gently grabbed his hand pulling him up from the bench before they walked back to Davina. She put his tray beside hers and sat down. Nolan looked shyly at Davina before he plopped down beside Kelsey.
"Davina this is my friend Nolan, Nolan this is Davina." she said before she took a sip from her water.
Davina eyed the boy next to her friend with a small smile before she looked back at Kelsey.
They ate their lunch while having some smalltalk. At least Davina and Kelsey talked. Nolan just sat there totally nervous not used to be with people together as he usually was alone.
After Lunch she got back into the school walking to her locker where Alison was currently leaning against as she waited for her.
"I saw you talking to the new girl" Alison said as Kelsey reached her. She made some space so that her friend could get her things out of the locker.
"And then you weren't there at lunch." Alison continued as she glanced at the girl beside her. " You aren't avoiding us, are you? The blonde pushed as she got no answer from Kelsey.
"What no! Why would I?" She asked as she looked confused at her friend. "I just promised Davina that I eat lunch with her. That's all. She said as they walked to the english classroom.
Alison sat down at her table before glancing at her friend with a confused look on her face. "Who?" she asked as Kelsey took the table beside her.
