Part 4

Izzy pov

I could not believe the day I had. I found out that one of my close friends was also a royal, just like me! And now, we're getting married! I had never thought about it the way that he explained it, but he was right. At least it's someone I know and someone I can trust rather than someone who doesn't respect me at all. I did everything I needed to do before leaving for school. I didn't want to tell my friends about it just yet. I figured that I would tell them when the week was over. I looked over my schedule one more time; Science first period, then Drama, Lunch, Music and English. I went to science for the first period. I was a little bit early, so I just went straight to my seat. Generally, I sat next to Sherry, Tammie sat next to Ruby, Jacob sat next to Carter and Walker sat next to Alex. But, Sherry asked Mrs. Phillips if she and Alex could switch spots so that we 'could work on the project more efficiently' and she said yes. A minute later, Alex came in and sat down next to me.

Izzy - "Hello, fiancé"

Alex - (chuckles) "It's gonna take me some time to get used to that"

Izzy - (giggles) "Me too"

Alex - "So, I actually had something I wanted to give you"

Izzy - "Oh no"

He smiled and scoffed sarcastically.

Alex - "Just gimme a sec to get it"

He moved to his backpack and scoured inside of it to find whatever it was he wanted to give me.

Alex - "Oh here it is"

He pulled out a small velvet box. There's no way...

Alex - "I knew that I might have gotten engaged yesterday, so I wanted to do something special"

Izzy - "It's gorgeous, Alex! Thank you!"

I hugged him and kissed his cheek. The ring was fabulous! I put it on my finger and grinned like an idiot. We talked for a little bit before the teacher came in.

Mrs. Phillips - "Today will be another period to work on your project. Please use your time wisely"

Alex and I both opened our laptops and started working. I was mostly formatting and he was putting in information. Before we knew it, the bell rang. I packed up my stuff and went to my next class, drama. We were watching a play and critiquing it so the whole period was boring. Finally, the bell rang and I went to lunch. I saw Alex, Walker and Sherry sitting at a table so I walked there and sat down next to Alex.

Alex - "Oh thank god. You saved me from being the third wheel"

Izzy - (giggles) "You're welcome"

Sherry - "Oh my god, Izzy!"

Izzy - "What's wrong, Sher?"

She pointed to the beautiful ring that Alex had given me.

Sherry - "Are you engaged?!"

Izzy - (blushes) "I am"

Sherry - "Why didn't you call me?!"

I smiled at her antics.

Izzy - "Sher, I just found out yesterday"

Sherry - "I'm so excited! I've already planned your whole wedding!"

Walker - "If it's not an invasion of privacy, who are you engaged to?"

Izzy - "I'd rather not say just yet"

Walker - "Okay, sorry"

Izzy - "No need to apologize. We'll probably announce it in a week"

Then, Tammie and Ruby came and sat down with us.
