Angel's POV
What took me so long?

I aimed the gun at him again as he walked slowly out to his car, trying to stress the fact that I, though a coward, was capable of killing him. He faced me with his hands in the air as he backed into his rusted-out Camaro.
"Are you going to get into your car, or will we stand here until one of us drops?" His eyes shimmered with stubborn satisfaction.
"I'll wait. You promised."
"I'm going to give you to the count of 5 to get off of my property." I tried again.
"1."
"Hate to break it to you kid but I'm not leaving until you hand her over." My arms started feeling sore. I brought the gun down. "I have a cane," he threatened, lifting the tip slightly off the ground.
"And I have a loaded gun, a concerningly high pain tolerance, and limitless power to back me, what's your point?" I put the gun back in the holster attached to my belt, hoping my words were enough of a deterrent.
He stayed quiet.
"2." I stretched out the numbers, giving him extra time.
"3."
"4."
"5." My hand shot to the holster, pulling the gun out. 6 quick bangs exploded into the sky. Blanks. I didn't want to waste my bullets. The sound echoed against the forest walls, bringing the shots back again.
"Alright, fine, fuck, I'm leaving." He lifted his hands above his head before slowly reaching down to the handle.
The door opened slowly. I was getting impatient.
He threw his cane on the passenger seat before slowly lowering himself into the vehicle.
I kept the handgun aimed at his chest with both hands around the grip and pushed the car door closed with my foot.
He rolled the window down, "Tell Stephano I say hi."
Hey, I know this is a bitch move, but I won't be able to write a lot over the summer. I'll try my best to get at least one more out soon.
Have a good summer! <3
