Part 3

I didn't think I would see him here. He was talking to Penny. I was a bit confused by that but oh well. I saw that Rooster didn't notice that he was here yet. Right when I was going to tell Rooster that ill be right back the bell rang and my dad had to pay for everyone's drinks. Of course it was him. I started walking over to him and he noticed and got up. We ave each other a great big hug and went to sit down. We talked for about 10 minutes and then I saw Hangman eyeing me. It weirded me a bit but then Penny wanted to talk to my dad so I went to Phoenix.I didn't say one word about Rooster but I knew my dad saw him. Phoenix of course had to bring up Rooster so I told her everything. I also told her about how Hangman was staring at me for a while. She was a bit weirded too. Then it got super busy so we stopped talking about it. Hangman went to go put music on and I looked at my dad. He was watching us. We started to play pool and Phoenix wanted payback on Rooster because he wouldn't tell me if I did something embarrassing or said something. So, she hit him right in the gut. I couldn't hide the laugh so I bursted out laughing. She laughed with me. Hangman came over and asked about how he was going to be the team leader and went on and on. Rooster was getting mad.

My dad was getting kicked out of the bar. I just smiled because it was pretty funny. He was smiling as he was getting kicked out. Just the the music went out and Rooster went to the piano. I smiled and walked to the piano. Then he looked at and smiled and started singing. I realized what song it was and I looked outside and saw my dad sad out there. He started to walk away and I looked at Rooster and started. After Rooster was done singing Hangman was super drunk and started to get super close to me. I looked at Phoenix in complete shock and so did she. He tried to kiss me then Rooster pulled him away. They were both yelling at each other so I got involved and cut them out. I told someone to take Hangman home. I went outside to take a breather and I sat down in the sand. I heard footsteps so I looked and I was shocked that it was Rooster. He sat down next to me and we had a moment of silence. Then out of nowhere he says "sorry." I was confused and asked why. He said "I've been ignoring you for something you didn't do." As soon as he said that I knew what he was talking about, my dad. I just looked at him and smiled. I told him to put the past behind us and restart. We talked for a few and told him it's getting late and we have a big day tomorrow. When I got home I went right to bed as happy as could be.

In the morning I was ready to se who was going to train us. I haven't talked to my dad ever since he left the bar last night. I started to feel bad. When I walked into the academy I walked with Phoenix. I told her everything that happened last night and she was so excited. I laughed at her response. When we got to the room I went to go sit by Rooster. I smiled at him then one of the admirals started talking about our new trainer. When he was done we all heard footsteps behind us. Everyone turned around and knew who he was from the bar. I looked at Rooster worryingly and he just rolled his eyes. I gave a small smile at my dad. I didn't know what was coming for us. He was talking about the book and then threw it in the garbage. He said the our enemies know that book too. Then he told us to show him what we got. If we get hit we have to do 200 push-ups. We were walking to our jets when my dad pulled Rooster aside. We all looked over at them and I was getting worried. I hope they got better not worse. Rooster walked away and started to get his jet ready. Once we were up in the sky I was kind of scared.I knew what my dad was capable of. We were flying around for a bit and Rooster was the first hit. He had to do the first push-ups. Hangman kept on saying " what's up with these to?" I acted like I didn't know. We were flying more and I got hit. My dad made a funny face at me. I gave him a smirk and went to base to do push-ups. Once we all were done Rooster and my ad were still up there. But then I saw Rooster doing push-ups and was getting yelled at that he could stop but we wouldn't. I walked over there and asked if he was ok. He told him that he was still pissed at dad for what he did which makes training harder. I had no words but I put my hand out and told him to get up. He gave me a smirk and took my hand. We talked until we got to our cars and I smiled at him and told him we have a big day tomorrow. He winked at me and got in his car. I smiled so hard my jaw hurt I was so happy. Then I made my way to meet up with my dad. Let's hope it's not going to be awkward.
