Part 8

When I woke up we all got a message to not go to the academy and go to the bar. It said get ready to get wet. So I just changed into a bikini top and shorts. This time I was actually excited to see Rooster and everyone else. Some now
as much though. When I got to the bar I was the first person here. Well except my dad. I walked over to him and we talked for like 3 minutes then we heard a car door. When he walked around it was Rooster. Oh dear lord let's see how this goes. I just looked at Rooster like this was going to be awkward. He nodded and smiled. He looked at my dad and looked away quickly. I slowly walked over to Rooster and purposely bumped into him. He acted like he was so injured and it was super funny. After a few minutes everyone one started to show up. Hangman glared at me for a second and Rooster was getting defensive. I loved when he gets defensive. I just waved to make Rooster more mad and he just looked at me. I just smiled at him and and walked away. He looked at my dad and he was laughing. Once everyone got here my dad explained what we were doing.  It was a interesting game of football. It sounded fun and we got put into teams. My dad put Rooster and I on separate teams of course.

At least I got on a team with Phoenix. We started to play for a while and I got a touchdown. I threw my hand up and when I was going to give Phoenix double high five someone grabbed me and started to spin me  around. I realized it was Rooster and got happier. He put me down and we played another round. Rooster got a touchdown and payback and him did a chest bump. Then he started to do this weird dance. I was super hot if I do say so myself. He was so happy and I loved it. Hangman and him didn't seem to mind each other. Also my dad was on Roosters and they seemed to get along. We played for a little while and my dad went to go sit down. We all were bummed but continued playing. I saw that the Vice Admiral came to talk to my dad. I was watching them and I got rammed into. I fell right to the ground and everyone ran over. I saw that Hangman hit me. Phoenix helped me up and Rooster was eyeing him. I grabbed his hand and I didn't let him do anything. I told him to forget about it and we played a few more rounds. On the last round Bob got a touchdown!! We all cheered and Rooster picked him up and they all surrounded him and were jumping around. Phoenix and I were dying watching them. Just then Rooster and Bob came over and threw us in the water.

We were in the water for a bit and everyone left. My dad was talking to Penny. I was proud of him. We were just playing in the water when Bob kissed Phoenix. I actually started to scream but Rooster put his hand on my mouth. And then he told me to be quiet and have there moment. So I turned around and dunked him. He wouldn't take that and he did the same. I swam up behind and jumped on his back. Right after that he swung me to the front and he kissed me. I hugged him and he started to go to shore. We held hands and walked to a big rock on shore. I think our new favorite thing is watching sunsets. My head was on him but then he moved. I put my head up and he stood up. It's like he has a whole speech. I smiled and asked what he was doing. He didn't respond and he just started talking. He said "Maddie, I know we just started talking but I have to tell you something. It has been in my mind for forever and I need to get it off my mind." I raised my eyebrows and smiled even more. He kept on going " I've liked you ever since you have been at the academy. I know me and your dad don't have a good relationship but we do. So Maddie, I'm asking if you will be my girlfriend." I stood up and hugged him. I said " yes yes yes yes yes!" I never couldn't be any happier. We kissed once again and we laid down on the rock. I asked if we could stay and look at the stars for a bit and he said yes. So we were on the rock for a bit and we talked. I never would've thought that this would happy. But then I was getting tired and I wanted to see Iceman. Just then I had the greatest idea.

I wanted to take Rooster to Iceman. I asked if he was awake and he said that he will stay awake for longer just for me. I asked if I could bring an extra person and I'm pretty sure he knew who I was talking about so he said yes. So I told Rooster to get in the car without telling him where we are going and I drove off. When we got there I knocked and someone from his family answered. They said that he wasn't doing good and I got super worried. Iceman is like my brother. I tell him everything I'm not ready for him to leave yet. Rooster say how sad I was and put his arm around my waist. I looked at him and smiled and nodded to walk to the office. I knocked and walked in and I gave him a great big hug. He looked at Rooster and his eyes widened. I laughed and he started texting. He asked if we were a thing now. I asked if Rooster wanted to answer and he told Iceman no. His smiled slowly fades away which was so funny. Rooster say he was just messing with him and told him yes. He smile returned even bigger and he was so happy. He typed congrats and said how happy he was and all that. I love Iceman with my whole heart. Not in a weird way though. He was getting told that he needed to go to bed so I gave him a hug and left. Rooster said that he really likes Iceman and that he's a good man. I told him that he's getting worse and that he might not be able to make it. He gave me a hug and we walked to the car. I took him home and I walked him to his house. We kissed once again and hugged. I told him that I had a great time and I would love to do it again. He agreed and he kissed my forehead and said goodbye. I said goodbye and drove home.
