Part 7

Before I went home I decided I wanted to go Iceman. He always thought Rooster and I would get together. I didn't really know what our status was right now but oh well. Even though it was night I really wanted to tell him everything. So I went over and asked if he was still awake. She said that he was heading to bed. I quickly went to his office and knocked. He was surprised that he saw me. He smiled and asked why I was here. But he can't really talk so he just typed it. I told him that I kissed Rooster. He gasped and then started writing like a whole paragraph. Texted him when he was done writing I read what he said and I just laughed. He told me to tell all the details and leave none out. So I told him EVERYTHING and he was so happy. After I told him everything he asked if we were now dating. I told him I wasn't sure yet but I'll make sure by tomorrow and I'll come and tell you. He was happy with that idea and I told him he should probably go to bed. I gave him a big hug and I left the office. I told everyone thank you and left. Right when I got in my car I called Phoenix. I also told her everything and she actually screamed with joy. I was laughing and then I thought of her and Bob. So of course I had to ask about that. She said she may have a little crush on him. Just then I screamed with joy. We both bursted out laughing and then Bob called her. I screamed even louder and I told her to answer right now. She told me goodbye and she hung up. I arrived at home finally.

I walked into my house and my dad texted me. He asked how my day was. I was scared to tell him that I was with Rooster all day. So I said I had a great day. He asked what I did and I told him I hung out with friends and went to go visit Iceman. He knew I had a close connection with Iceman. I told him I just wanted to pay him a visit. I didn't want him to ask why I went there. I told him that I wanted to go to bed because we had some training tomorrow. We both said good night  and went to bed.

By morning I was actually happy to go to the academy. I saw Hangman and Payback looking at photos so I walked over to them. Payback was inspecting a photo and pointing at someone. I looked closer and it was my dad. But then Hangman said look behind him and it was goose. He said he just found out why they hated each other. I was worried what was going to happen. I walked away and saw Phoenix and ran up to her. I gave her a big hug and said to her that I felt something bad will happen. But then I realized what happened last night and told her to tell me everything. She told me everything and by the time we got to the room she was finished. I told her why I thought something bad was going to happen and she thought so too. But then I saw that Rooster was looking at me. I walked over to him and sat next to him. We had a small conversation and just when he was going to put his arm around me my dad walked in. He scratched his back to hide it.

Today was just going to be a talking day about the mission. He wanted to make sure that we were prepared for the mission. He was talking for a bit longer and I looked at Hangman. He was smirking. Just then Rooster says something and I get scared. My dad says something after that and that's when everything goes bad. Hangman comes into the conversation. I looked at Phoenix and shrugged. I honestly didn't know what was going to happen. It kept on going in with Rooster and Hangman. Just then Hangman something about Goose and Rooster went after him. He ended very quick but it scared all of us.  I was holding Rooster while Hangman was laughing. Rooster held my hand and squeezed my hand. Hangman pointed it out and said something about it and Rooster tried to go after him again. But they were both held back. My dad yelled and said we were dismissed. I looked at him and he knew I had to calm Rooster down. Once everyone left I walked Rooster to his car and he was still mad. I felt super bad for him and I just hugged him. We never said anything but I knew it helped him. I asked if I could do anything but he just hugged me tighter. I looked at him after the hug and kissed him. He felt much better after that and was now happier. All he said was thank you. Then we parted ways.

I texted my dad when I got home and asked if he wanted to come over. But he texted that he was going to Iceman's and I was confused why. I never asked why but I asked if he wanted to come over later. He said yeah and said that he will come later. I was happy because I feel like we have be a bit distance lately. I felt like I had to bring up Rooster because of what happened today. I was definitely scared to but I had to. It has been a while and I heard a knock on the door. I quickly ran up to it and I saw my dad. I invited him in and offered a drink. He said what he wanted and I went to get him one. Once we were seated I told him that I've felt like we've been distant. He agreed so I told him if anything is happening with Penny. He smiled and said that he had to sneak out of the window again. I laughed so hard because he's done that plenty of times. We talked about him for a bit but then he wanted to switch to me. He asked what happened today with me and Rooster. I told him that we have been getting close and I tried to keep it on the low. He asked if it was more than that but I had no response. I tried to switch to a different conversation and it luckily worked. We talked about Iceman and other people. I was getting tired and he was too. So he decided to leave. Just then when I was going to bed I got a text. It was from Rooster saying how much he appreciated today and how happy he is now. I texted him back and put my phone down. My life feels like it's completing.
