"Please don't leave..." (Little Nightmares/Mono x Seven/School AU)

TIME SKIP TO NEXT MORNING (MONO STAYED OVER AT SEVEN'S)

Seven slowly opened his eyes to Mono snuggled up on his chest, asleep.
"Wow... he looks so cute." Seven said as he moved some hair out of Mono's face.
"Morning, lovebirds." Six sung as she waltzed into the room. Seven shushed her.
"Mono is still asleep. I don't want to wake him up." Seven started gently petting Mono's hair.
"You really do like him, don't you?" Six asked, smiling.
"He just makes me so happy... I love being around him. He's so cute, and funny and swe-"
"Sweet and kind and- I've heard this speech a million times!"
"Well... I-I know he doesn't like me back so it doesn't matter anyway."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that."
"Hm?"
"Just look at how he's cuddling you! You wouldn't do that with someone you don't like. Plus, have you seen his face when he's around you? I don't think I've ever seen anyone smile so brightly." Seven looked down to the boy asleep on his chest. He had a little smile on his face, and Seven couldn't help but smile too.
"I'll leave you alone now, incase he wakes up soon and you two start making out, I don't want to see that." Seven's face immediately went red.
"Six!" Six stuck her tongue out at Seven while she was leaving.
Suddenly, Seven felt something tugging at his shirt. He looked down and saw Mono had a tight grip on him, and his face looked in distress.
"No... no! Not again! Please... don't leave!" Mono began crying.
"Mono? Mono, wake up!" Seven started shaking Mono in an attempt to get him up. He eventually shot up and looked around, hyperventilating. "Hey... it's okay Mono. I'm... I'm here for you. It's okay." Seven opened his arms for a hug and Mono lunged into him. He buried his face in Seven's chest which muffled his heavy crying. Seven rubbed his back and eventually calmed him down. "Was it a nightmare?" Mono nodded. "Do you... want to talk about it?" Mono paused for a moment, but shook his head. "That's okay. I'll be here if you need to talk." Seven kissed Mono's head. He felt Mono smile into his chest and Seven smiled too. After a few minutes, Mono sat up and climbed off the bed.
"I should probably be heading... back, soon." he said.
"Can I walk you home?" Seven asked.
"Uhm... if you want to. Might be nice to have the company." Mono smiled. Seven helped Mono pack up his stuff. Mono picked up his bag and put it on.
"Oh... you're wearing your bag?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Just... you don't have to. I like seeing you."
"O-okay... I guess I can take it off..."
Seven smiled as he watched Mono slowly remove his bag.

They were chatting the whole walk there. Eventually, Seven noticed they were walking into a forest.
"Do you live around here?" he asked. Mono nodded in response.
"A little house in a clearing, just a bit further up from here. My... parents, are usually out of town, so most of the time, it's just me and Dio."
"Dio?" Mono was about to speak when a rustling coming from the bushes. The boys stepped back slightly and Mono put his arm in front of Seven, ready to protect him. Then, a small pale creature with a pointed head came out of the bushes.
"Dio!" The creature jumped into Mono's arms. "Hey buddy! I'm sorry for not coming back last night." Seven stared at them confused. "Oh, this is Seven." Mono held the creature out to him. It jumped out of Mono's arms and onto Seven's head. It jumped down and Seven caught it in his hands and it started hugging his face. "Awwww, he likes you, Seven!" Seven smiled. "You've probably guessed by now, but, this is Dio. He's a Nome, and my pe-" Dio chattered angrily at him. "I meant my roommate! Sorry!" Seven chuckled at them. Every little thing Mono did made Seven like him even more.
Mono scooped up Dio and began to walk through the bushes when Seven stopped him.
"Hey, Mono." he called out.
"Yeah Seven?"
"Uhm... w-would you mind if I stuck around for a bit?"
"Of course, I like having you around." Dio started bouncing in Mono's arms, trying to reach for Seven. "I don't think Dio wants you to leave either." Mono had a huge smile on his face, making Seven smile too.

I was just in a mood to write a cute lil chapter :)
Also, the name Dio came from the Greek word for two (as I read on Google, idk if its completely correct, but either way I think it's a cute name and imma keep it)
