They were being watched, Alon can feel it even if he was just a rookie operator. Even from the stares of the Ancients which were just pure curiosity, he can feel the dangerous intent behind it.

I wonder if they can feel the same thing or I am just paranoid and tense, Alon wondered to himself as they jogged up the hill to the rendezvous point of their contact. Then again Alon concluded that the two were experienced to detect it but chose not to bring it up and decided to go on.

"We're almost there we'll be linking up to the Sisters of Peace, a faction that wants Venus to remain neutral within the Sovereign-Principality War," Dain said told them. "But I have been informed that the Wild Hunt is nearby."

"I'm guessing the Sisters of Peace are the ones that won't shoot us on sight," Alon commented as they jogged along the hillside as passed by more Ancients who looked on at them.

"Nope they will gladly shoot both of us on sight," Tsuna explained while looking onwards. "I see the Sisters do we have a call sign?"

"Yeah, it's Mercy," Dain answered as they saw a large group of women in Military Combat equipment. "They don't look Pacifists to me," Alon whispered as Tsuna shushed him.

While on the surface Matriarchy looks like a verdant peaceful paradise but internally they are divided as the Sovereign-Principality war rages on and each planet is given the choice of whether to side with the Sovereign or the Principality. And that is no different from the Matriarchy as two major factions that dominate their politics, the Sisters of Peace who chose to remain neutral in the entire conflict and the Wild Hunt who see the war as a chance for the planet to show that they are as strong as the Sovereign and the Principality and that by choosing a stance in the war they can show their true strength.

"Tranquility!" One of the Sisters of Peace said creating a gesture with her hand.

"Mercy," Dain answered raising his hand and imitating the same gesture from earlier.

"I'm glad to see your operation over the Orbit of Mars didn't result in your deaths." The Sister of Peace told him. "That aside we need your help, if you managed to help us then the Sisters will be funding your operations."

"That depends what do you want us to do?" Dain said the Sister of Peace chuckled under her helmet and shook her head as though she was amused. "You think you have any power to negotiate in terms of help?" She said as she pulled out a pistol, Alon tensed up but he tried his best not to show it, unfortunately, his fears worsened as they were surrounded by more Sisters of Peace aiming their rifles and Power-Spears at them.

"What do you think a filthy and pathetic male like you is capable of stopping us from killing you three?" She continued as Alon and Tsuna pulled out their guns and aimed at the soldiers.

"Careful, we may be small in number but we're thrice as valuable as your squad." Dain bluffed in a low voice, he was calm but he was seething. It was clear that what is going on was an obvious betrayal on their part.

The Sister was silent she then aimed her gun at—

Bang!

Alon fell to the ground as a bullet pierced his left leg causing him to kneel on the ground in pain, Tsuna and Dain immediately pulled out their sabres and the next thing Alon saw was a flurry of bright lights and cries of pain by the Sisters who tried their best to put up a fight against them

So I need to be that good to be able to use a Saber, Alon thought as he pulled out a gun and tried to shoot a sister. But with the speed at which Tsuna and Dain were facing the sisters, he was more afraid of friendly fire instead.
