I get the altoids can from under my pillow and check its contents, still complete. I give it a little kiss and put it in my pocket. Its just mints... right?

I walk out my room fully dressed with my walkman and my headphones hung onto my neck. I head straight for the door.
"Wait wait, can you pick up a package from the post office later, im picking up an extra shift." My mom stops me

"Shouldn't they deliver that?"
"Theres extra fees, please just pick it up for me"
"Alright ok, bye"
"Bye love you" i hear her say as i walk out the door
I sigh and get on my bike, i put my headphones on and start peddling
I see nancy wheeler and her brother pull out of their drive way
Mike wheeler's a part of the nerdy club hellfire, i always see them around wearing their shirts and im guessing their leader, eddie munson being loud and causing public disturbance making a few valid points here and there.

Hawkins high, the parking lot is crowded with people coming out of their busses and kids skating and some tossing their basketballs around

"Catch!" I hear then followed by a basketball hit my arm
"Weren't you listening freak, i said catch." I hear chance say
I look at jason next to him and hes just looking at me no expression just looking.
I walk away without saying anything

I used to be really good friends with jason back when he wasn't in the basketball team he used to not be an ass, and he used to not annoy the piss out of me but now that his ego is a huge and he thinks hes all that i cannot stand the sight him.

I get to my locker to see lola "hey sexyy" she says waving her hands when she sees me
Me and lola are complete opposites but we balance each other out, and im guessing thats what makes us so good together.

"Ok soo pep rally tomorrow you excited?"

Lola's a cheerleader shes friends with a few other cheerleaders who dont like me but she doesnt care what anyone thinks of me she says im the realest person in hawkins high and that no one can replace me, i dont know about the no one can replace me part. I feel like she'd be happier with someone who's willing to party and get drunk around jocks with her . Trust me im not too modest, i like to drink but i dont like drinking around jocks or basically people i dont like or trust, im not dumb.

"Me? Excited? For the pep rally? Funny."
"Seriously so you dont wanna see me shake my pom poms" she says doing a dance
" if thats your routine, no"
"Whatever, you are gonna be there though, right?" She asks
"Yes but i might leave after your routine"
"Why, are you meeting a boy" she asks getting excited
"No, i just dont like basketball"
"I know now, why you're so aggravated all the time" she says as if she just had a revelation

I burst out laughing

The bell rings

I get to my first class and fun fact about my first class i share it with chance and andy
They are the loudest most proud and annoying motherfuckers in hawkins high, they dont ever shut up and if they arent talking they're always making a snarky face
The world would be a better place with tape over their mouths and a bag on ther face or if they just disappear off the face of the earth.

Lunch time rolls in and the lunchroom is packed i get my food and walk over to an empty table. Lola usually goes to lunch a little late because she has a boyfriend, if you kno what i mean.

I notice the hellfire table with eddie munson walking around giving a speech to the members about how hes going to crush them with his sadistic campaign

Im getting close to the empty table
hes walking backwards with saying whatever the hell about dnd and he walks into me making my milk on the floor making it splatter everywhere, on my shoes, socks and pants
