- Sundrop's perspective -
It's been a couple days now since I let Officer Vanessa take MoonStar's head to fix him, they've finished that stupid Princess DawnRise now and today's the day they place her in the daycare. I hate it! all of it! they're all just idiots, all of them! I thought to myself, waiting for the princess to be delivered to the daycare, the daycare was closed for a couple days so she could adjust and get used to it just as me and MoonStar did. I still don't see why they want that dumb princess to replace MoonStar.. I eventually quit thinking about that as now the workers had arrived. I took a peek out of the velvety red curtains to see what they were doing, they seemed to have a giant box on a wheely thing. I assumed this to be the princess' box and of course, I was correct. One of the workers called me down so I dived into the ball-pit and re-emerged to see what was happening. "Sundrop, this is your new co-worker Princess DawnRise.. I hope you'll treat her with the same respect you do with everyone else, okay?" the worker said, in response to this I nodded my head. I didn't want her here, yet I must give her respect.
Slowly, they began to open the box to reveal the princess. I watched their every movement and waited patiently although I hated it. I didn't want this, I never agreed to this. The princess was clean, polished to perfection like a pretty antique just as I had expected her to be. She wore a red to yellow dress with the red being more towards the base of her waist at the skirt part of the dress, her shoes matched this as did her hair with the yellow being at the outer edge of every item. Her face was pale, almost white with her lipstick being dark blue and her eye shadow pink-ish. She seemed to be in a sleep-like state, probably for easier transportation so the workers didn't have to deal with her moving about. One of the workers reached behind her head and pressed something, probably an on-off switch hidden behind her hair. It seems that her head was just like mine and MoonStar's, whole for the most part but the back doesn't have a cover.
Princess DawnRise's eyes were dark blue like her lipstick at the bottom of the eye but at the top they were another colour, light blue. In the centre of her eyes there was a yellow dot, this was probably designed to look like the sun. Now I'll admit, she does look nice.. but that doesn't mean I'll accept her being here, I still hate the idea! a while after the workers left she finally came up to my room to talk to me as I had gone up the hidden passageway as soon as they had stepped their feet out of the shutter. I was sat at my desk looking at part of my mirror that was still broken, aswell as the old book me and MoonStar used to communicate. She adjusted her golden tiara a bit before attempting to speak, atleast she had knocked the door before entering.. how polite. "U-uhhh... hi? my name's uh-" she began, yet I interrupted her.. not looking at her at all "Princess DawnRise, right? how... fun, it is to finally meet you.." the annoyance in my voice was all too clear.
I stood up, turning around and holding my hand out to shake her hand. She seemed to be a bit nervous though that was to be expected, created just to replace someone who was best friends with another.. what a sad existence. Eventually Princess DawnRise took my hand gently in hers, she went to speak again but I yanked her arm downwards, causing quite the shock and pain to her. "..My name's Sundrop, and I don't quite like the fact that you're here... got it?" she nodded in reply to this and I continued speaking, keeping a tight grip on her hand still "You're not replacing my Starry, you'll never be just like him.." she nodded again. Finally, I let go of her hand then she immediately pulled it back and began checking it. "S-sorry.. I jus-" she began, though once more I interrupted her "I know, I know... I wasn't very polite, was I? and I get that it wasn't your decision to be here.. sorry about that I uh-... don't quite know what came over me! haha.. ha.."
I sighed and sat down again, she got closer to me and began patting my back. "I might not know what it feels like.. but I atleast know this, it's okay to miss someone!.. it's just a part of nature, right?" she spoke. I felt a bit confused "..They told you about him?" I looked up at her, then she nodded. Management must've told her why she was built and about MoonStar being.. you know, well it only makes sense. If they didn't tell her this then how would she know why I may seem a bit upset? it's just logical to tell her. Anyways, I still miss MoonStar.. though I am going to try my best to get used to her being here. That's the least I could do.
