The Sundrop & The Moondrop

- Chapter 79, The Chip -

- Lunar's perspective -

I was thinking to myself in the main parts and service room, the one with the repair cylinder. All of a sudden three of the endoskeletons rushed into the room, kneeling down before me as I turned my attention to away from the cylinder and to them. "..Speak.." I commanded them and, so they did "We have heard wind of two escapers.." the one on my left said. "A gator and one of the attendants.." said the one on my right, followed by the middle one who lifted their head to look at me "They are heading towards a vent in the golf course, what is your plan of action?.." I looked down at them silently thinking. A few seconds later I gave my answer "..Stand.." they stood up upon hearing this "Go, chase them down.. block the vent exits and bring them to me!.. harm them if you must, but I want them alive... understood?" they nodded. Immediately the endoskeletons rushed off to tell the others to obey these orders.

It's about time MoonStar.. I know you, you hate this.. so it's about time you did something.. I thought to myself, I had been expecting this from the start. I knew MoonStar hated all of this, it was most likely him behind all of this. He was the ringleader of the operation bring down the ringleader and you bring down the others.. so that's what I'll do. If these idiotic endoskeletons could actually do their job, they would bring them to me at once.. I anticipate their arrival, expecting them to be delivered to me soon. You see, the endoskeletons have a way of communicating to each other over long distances.. why do you think I chose them for this army? Solar knew this too, so it's not surprising at what they were going to do.

- MoonStar's perspective -

We had been caught, dragged downstairs to parts and services. Just where we wanted to be but, not the right position we needed to be in in order to overthrow Lunar and get Sundrop and Solar back. "Well, well, well.. look at what we have here!" we were thrown onto our knees in front of Lunar as they lowered their head to be nearly level with mine. We were being held by the endoskeletons, restrained so we couldn't move or escape. "A couple of r̡u̷lebr̷ȩakers.. just as I predicted!" they raised their head again so they were looking down upon us, specifically looking at me instead of Monty. "I obviously know you're the ringleader behind this operation Star... so I ask you once and once only, why d-" they began but they were soon interrupted by a distant sound.

It was the distant sound of chains rattling, moving about as if something.. or someone were attached to them. Could it be!?  I thought to myself knowing Monty was thinking the same Sundrop and Solar. The chains continued to move and Lunar looked at a distant corner to my left, it was a corner behind the repair cylinder. In the distance my theories were proven correct as I watched the crumbling form of Sundrop's body stumble into view. "..Y-you.." a voice spoke, I knew this to be Solar's tone of voice but they're in Sundrop's body right now so the difference is almost un-noticeable. They appeared to be pointing at Lunar as Lunar turned their full attention to them. "Solar, you know you can't escape.. so why try?" they asked and the crumbling body came to a halt as the chain could not stretch any longer. "I c-can't just.. sit by a-any longer, y-you..." Solar began, turning their focus to me and Monty "Y-you came.. back for u-us?.." they asked and I nodded.

Though I could not do much in the situation right now I watched as Lunar and Solar spoke to each other. "A-and you.. I c̀an̶'̴t just s-sit and wait f-for something to h-happen!.. I h́a̷v̢e̛ ́h-̕ha̴d̴ eno͘u̕gh̴ ͘of ỳou͞, I a-am in no s-state to fight.. so l-listen.." Solar yelled, Lunar took a step forward as the endoskeletons holding me and Monty began to watch too. "You really think you're in any state to be bargaining with me?.. y̡o͏u sh̶ou͞ldn'͟t̡ ev́e̕ń ̸b̧e͝ h̶e̶re̡ ͡righ͡t no͟ẃ, but I took mercy on Sundrop... y͢o̷u̴'̸r̛e̛ ̢l̶uc̸k̕y̷.." The two of them continued to argue like this back and forth. "L-Lucky?.. you know n-nothing of luck!.." "Oh I do, I know much more than you do.. I'm the one who actually executed your plan after all!" "..Y-you're just.. a coward.."

Until during the argument the endoskeletons let go of me, I think Solar had something to do with it but I don't know for sure yet. Solar secretively motioned for me to come over to them and so I did, Lunar didn't seem to notice this though as they were turned around for some reason. Solar handed me something before motioning for me to return to where I was, from there the endoskeletons grabbed me again. I didn't know yet but what they had just handed me was a chip, if I plugged it into myself like they said to (which I did) then this would bring the plan to a whole new height..
