The Sundrop & The Moondrop

- Chapter 20, The Daycare Re-opens -

- Moondrop's perspective -

It's the day the daycare re-opens, great, just great.. it's probably going to be boring anyways, Sundrop's been leaving me notes for the past few days. I don't want to hear his stupid voice anyways. I only write back to him because of that. The daycare is re-opening today.. what fun we could have~  the voice in my head said, then it suggested something Don't you know what we could do?... we could terrorise all the naughty children~ isn't that fun?..  I nodded, deciding to focus more of my concentration on what I was writing instead of the voice.

Why are you even bothering to write back to him anyways? He's an idiot..  I continued writing, ignoring that thought. Once I finished writing I turned the lights back on and waited. I was watching through Sundrop's eyes what he wrote and so I said to him "..You don't have to turn the lights off again.." He then replied "What?" So I said something else "I've just read what you've written... now shut up, I don't want to hear your stupid voice you idiot.." he went silent after this and so did I.

It's the first day since the daycare closed after the incident, I watched through Sundrop's eyes and saw him cleaning up the daycare ready for guests. He never stops cleaning, how boring..  I thought to myself quietly. Eventually though, he stopped cleaning up the daycare and began waiting for the kids to enter. When the kids entered the daycare, he began welcoming them happily and they started running around like small tiny ants, though, not as small. He began setting up one of the activity tables and looked over to the nap-time area. It seems he was a bit sad about it closing, the nap-time area closed after the incident because for now I was deemed too unsafe for obvious reasons.

It became the time where the kids would have to take nap though, usually this is when I come in and help out but today it seems they've hired someone to help Sundrop with that since I'm not allowed out during daytimes anymore. I watched closely as the blankets from the nap-time area were taken out and placed onto the floor in the play area. Before the lights in the room were turned off, Sundrop was told to exit the room to avoid me getting out. Everything's so strange, isn't it?.. now that you're not allowed out you can't do your job.. the thought voice in my head had began to talk You're just as useless as they are now~ just think about it.. they don't need you anymore~ I spoke quietly and Sundrop seemed to hear it too "..That's not true.." Sundrop called out to me "Moondrop?.. you okay I-... I heard you saying something.." I decided to reply because he would probably never leave me alone if I didn't "..Wasn't talking to you idiot.."

The thought voice spoke again.. They don't need you~
