The Sundrop & The Moondrop

- Chapter 53, He's Getting Fixed -

- Sundrop's perspective -

"WHAT!?" I yelled "You can't do that! no, no, no! I simply won't allow it! his head is still intact you could still rebuild him!" I slammed my hands down onto the desk before me. The smug-faced man sitting in the chair simply looked at me and said "Sunny, the replacement's already being built and is near completion.. to scrap her now would be a waste of money and time... yes, I'll admit it, we can still rebuild MoonStar but we have to complete Princess DawnRise first.. this is just the way things are.." I stared at the man with anger like fire raging behind my eyes. I just still didn't want to believe it, they were holding off on rebuilding MoonStar until this so-called Princess DawnRise was completed! utter nonsense I tell you. All this guy cares about is money.

I carefully picked up the face off of the guy's table and said "Fine then, if you won't fix him.. someone else will.." before leaving. Slamming the door behind me I sighed and continued to walk down the hallway back to where I came from. After I'd turned a couple corners I finally reached a place that was familiar to me, the main atrium. I looked down at the face for a moment, smiling before patting it carefully. Once I had entered the main atrium I went over to the direction I thought the daycare would be in, turns out I was completely lost. "..Starry, do you know what way to go?" I turned the head to face me while speaking to it, it didn't seem to want to talk today so maybe asking it wasn't a good decision. It didn't respond so I turned the head back around and decided to sit down, I had only sat down to think but then I ended up being there for about an hour.

Finally someone walked up to me, it was Officer Vanessa. "Sun, what are you doing here!? you're supposed to be in the daycare!" she didn't seem to happy though, I stood up still holding the head. "Well, I was heading back there but didn't know what way to go!.. sorry, I won't do it again.." I looked down at the face and pat it once more "I went and asked management like you told me to do bu-" I said, yet she interrupted "They said no, didn't they?.." I nodded. She lead me back to the daycare, by time I had gotten back it had closed and Glamrock Chica was cleaning up. "..You know what Sunny?.. pass him here, I'll do it.." she said, I turned my head to face her "What?" I didn't quite understand. "I'll do it, I'll fix him for you.. I do the nightshift a lot and part of that involves fixing any minor breakdowns during the night, I know where all the spare parts are down there.. I'll do it.."

I looked down at the face before looking back at Officer Vanessa, I then nodded and passed her the face. "Please, don't break him.." I said to her before she left, she nodded and walked away with the face in hand. I sighed and decided to just head up to my room instead of going down to help Glamrock Chica today, though I did yell down to her telling her where I was incase she needed me. He's getting fixed.. you should be happy Sunny!  I thought to myself So.. why aren't you?..
