I'm back on my bullshit posting another fic whilst i leave several unfinished lol i love fixating. ok so stranger things really just got me like that with Eddie. my beloved. however, there are a lot of details to know before going into this fic.
Adrian is transgender. There is going to be a lot of misgendering and a lot of deadnaming, and I didn't want to put the deadname in the summary since it felt wrong to. However, that name is going to be used until he starts to go by Nin (a nickname of sorts). So Adrian/Nin is going to be learning about himself and figuring out his gender identity. It's not going to be easy on him, and there are going to be some very heavy emotional scenes. from the narrative perspective, until Nin comes to the conclusion of his gender, he will be referred to with she/her pronouns.
As I'm transgender myself, I've done my best to make it as realistic as possible to my own trans journey and to what Nin's would be set in the 80s with the Upside Down and Hawkins being a thing.
So here are the warnings: transphobia, homophobia, violence, slurs, swearing, underage drinking, recreational drug use (weed), misgendering, and nonexplicit sex.
there are scenes that lead to sex between characters, however, it is never explicitly stated and does not go into detail - like a cut to black moment. I hate smut, and in most scenarios, Adrian is under 18, so it's as vague as possible.
