Black Widow's aren't supposed to fall in love. To be honest, that was drilled into my thick skull during my stay in the Red Room. Yet somehow and some wicked way, that was one rule I broke.
I thought I could make things work with Bruce before he took off. Steve? He's a brother. Thor? He's a funny God and all, but no.
That leaves Tony Stark. That arrogant, kind, heroic idiot. He's a man with layers which was a hard pill to swallow. Still, he's beautiful inside and out. His mistakes remind me that he's human--even more so than I thought possible. Tony's special, that's all there is to it...I think.
