A/N: The next couple of chapters will be mainly IronDad centric! Loads of angst on the way!
As the Avengers attempt to get the deserved rest, the red lights blare and an alarm sound, waking them up from their slumber. To be fair, they are already awake from their personal nightmares.
Peter wakes up and falls out of the bed before rushing to put on his suit. He runs out of his bedroom to catch up to the Avengers.
"Tony, what's the situation?" He asks as he catches up to the team."Some killer robots." Tony says simply.
"Can I help?"
"I don't know."
"Spider-Man's help might do us some good, Tony." Steve adds while walking towards the jet
"Cap called it, so I'm going." Peter snarks slightly, leaving no room for argument from his mentor.
Tony doesn't have time to retort otherwise, so has no choice but to follow the teen onto the jet with that dreadful sting growing in the pit of his stomach. He sits next to Natasha, who already has consumed her third cup of coffee.
"Peter is joining us this morning?" Natasha asks with a raising eyebrow.
Tony sighs. "Rogers thinks it's a great idea."
The assassin nods at the answer. "He'll be alright, Tony."
"How do you know?"
"He has you and he has us."
The genius doesn't argue with her, mainly because she has a point. Everyone on the team loves the slinging hero. They all gave themselves the title of Aunt and Uncles except for Tony, but Tony sees him as his own son.
As the jet get closer to the city, Steve stands in front of the team. "Alright, we don't know where they came from, but we have one objective. Destroy them before they take more lives than what they've already have. Stay sharp, eyes up. I don't know if we can assign teams this time, so stay together as much as possible. If you're hit, let us know. Keep the coms clear of useless chatter."
Tony glances at the teen and buries that gut feeling down in hopes that everything will turn out alright. Whatever higher power exist, please don't let this be what takes him, a silent prayer is said in the billionaire's mind. He looks over to the estimated time and leaned his head back against the seat.
An hour to get your shit together, Stark.

As they arrive at the sight, it becomes a blur for Peter as he sees the robots firsthand. He takes a deep breath and grins. "Let's do this, you mechanical animals!" He quips, not wasting any more time to start webbing the robots around him.
"Kid, be careful of your surroundings. This isn't a training stimulation." Tony's voice echoes through the coms.
Peter sighs with a roll of his eyes. "Thanks for that useful information, Mr. Stark. I had no idea."
Spider-Man webs the robots quickly, thanks to his Spidey sense. He glances over to Hawkeye and notices the older man being outnumbered by the robots. Then he notices something else that drills his nerves into overdrive: the man's arrows are getting low. "Oh, God." He whispers to himself before running towards the man.
The teen kicks two robots against the concrete wall, instantly shattering them from the strength of the kick. He turns to Hawkeye. "You're welcome."
"Thanks, Spidey!" Hawkeye calls as he runs towards other team members.
Spider-Man leans against the wall and doesn't detect a robot in time as he feels a burning sensation and sharp pricks in his upper stomach. He shakes it off and webs the offending robot. His hand feels warm where it's clutching. Raising it up, he sees crimson blood painting his hand.
He slides down to the ground and the numb sensation takes over as he slacks over unconsciously.

Half an hour later, the fight is over, and Tony takes in the scenery. "Underoos, what's your status?"
He waits for a response before repeating. "Kid, status." His voice breaks at the last syllable.
Tony doesn't waste any time to start the search, that dread feeling begins to build up more forcefully. He glances over to that wall and his eyes widen at the sight. "Oh, God, no." He runs to the teen hero and sits on his knees in front of the teen.
He looks at the teen and notices the steady blood flow from his stomach to the ground. Grabbing the coms. "I need a medic. Please, hurry. Spidey's down."
Tony shakes as he checks for a pulse and finds a fading pulse. "Help is coming, kiddo. I promise." He looks in front of him and sees Natasha standing there with a strange look on her face.
Natasha rushes to help the pair. She pulls out a gauze and presses it against the teen's wound. "It's okay, маленький паук. Help is on the way."
I can't break down now. Not yet, Tony scolds himself. He has to stay with me. I can't do this without him.

FanficThe Avengers are together again after six months of the Rouges on the run. Yes, it's tonynat. In my defense, they were a thing in the comics. Also if you don't like it, that's cool too.
