Steve Rogers doesn't know how to begin to fix things with Tony. He looks over at the billionaire and walks over to him. Glancing over to Natasha, who sits close by to referee, he sits next to him.
"Hey, Tony," he greets. "Gloomy weather today, huh?"
Tony's eyes revert to the captain. "Seriously? You asking me about the weather."
"It's a good conversation starter."
The genius looks over to him. "What do you need?"
"I want to fix things."
That causes Stark to scoff. "You're funny, Rogers," he stands up to make himself some more coffee. "You hurt me."
"Tony, please--"
"You. Hurt. Me."
The captain sighs. "I know I did, but I didn't want to. You gave me no choice."
"Oh, I didn't? What a way to shift the blame--"
"Tony, I had to protect Bucky--"
"Pardon me, sir, but Ms. Potts is requesting that presentation for the renewable energy supply." F.R.I.D.A.Y interrupts.
Tony sighs in relief. "Thanks, Fri." He gives Steve a side-eye and walks towards his lab.
"Steve, listen to me," Natasha says. "You need to actually listen to him. Everyone on our side has hurt him. It's gonna need to be more than a few conversations over drinks."
Steve looks at her with resigned eyes. "I understand, but I just want him to understanding my side. I want him to trust me again."
She smiles sadly. "You need to have a conversation with Barnes about him. Tony doesn't trust him, and I don't blame him. And you need to figure out what he wants or needs from you."
"You think Barnes is a bad person."
"No, I think Tony views him as such. If you were in Tony's shoes, you'd think the same thing. Barnes is a good guy who needs help accepting the fact what happened wasn't his fault."
Steve sighed. "I know. How do I help?"
"I don't know." Natasha answers honestly.
Steve knows if Nat doesn't know what to do then he's screwed.

Fiksi PenggemarThe Avengers are together again after six months of the Rouges on the run. Yes, it's tonynat. In my defense, they were a thing in the comics. Also if you don't like it, that's cool too.
