Chapter 2

I awoke the next morning still clutching Mr Bear in my hand.

I got up out of my bed and made my way to the rainbow room for morning free time.

I arrived in and everyone else was already there enjoying their free time and playing some games.

I noticed 011 wasn't playing that token game so I decided to go over and try it out.

I picked up the red token and aimed for the number 2. I dropped it in as I watched it drop down as it got pushed around by the pins sticking out. It finally came down but landed down all the way over in 14.

I was a bit disappointed so I tried again and again and again but there I seemed to have no luck.

Just then the door opened and 011 walked in. She looked tired and a bit sleepy.

Not even a second later though the man with the blond hair arrived behind her.

"Good morning sleepy head" he said to her. "It seems you finally got up".

He gave her a smile as she turned and looked over in my direction.

She walked over and knelt down beside me picking up another red token.

"What number are you aiming for?" I asked.

"011" she replied sternly.

She dropped it in and it fell down into 010. " Well done, you were close" I said to her cheerfully.

"No, 011 not 010". She responded.
"My go again".

She swiped the token out of my hand and did it again watching it fall down the board switching directions every second. It fell down and dropped in 008.

She sighed and took the token again and was going to drop it down the board when someone sat down beside her.

It was the man with the blond hair.

"You're really determined aren't you" he laughed. "Are u going to go again?"

011 nodded.

I felt like I was invading a conversation because he wasn't really acknowledging me.

I pushed myself up from the ground and was beginning to walk away when I heard him speak.

"Where are you going 002? Am I that scary?" He asked with a grin. I slightly smiled but I quickly hid it with my hand.

"Oh my god! 002, what happened to your neck!" he asked as he got up and come over beside me.

He put his cold hand on my neck.

"It's from the collar but it's find" I told him.

It was a bit awkward having him touch my neck and being very near him. Also to add that an 08 year old has to sit and watch it when she just wanted to play her game.

"It will most likely be healed tomorrow I suppose, but I should go I have to do some tests with 012" he announced.

I turned to 011. She looked at me like I was an alien or something. I got up and left her to her game and was going to walk over to play another match of chess with 006 when a call came from behind me.

"Nice neck scars 002" 003 laughed loudly.

I ignored him but he started pestering me more.

"The only reason Papa gave you the collar is because he actually thinks I can succeed while you're just worthless and mean nothing to anyone" he grinned.

I was just about to speak when I heard his voice again.

The man with the yellow hair's voice.

"Excuse me boys, oh and lady, but you cant be speaking like that to people so I would advise you to say sorry or all of you will be in the collar next." He stated.

They all muttered a very lazy 'sorry' under their breaths. They then all walked off to the other side of the rainbow room. I turned around to the man with blond hair and thanked him for what he did.

"No problem" he exclaimed as he strided out of the rainbow room down the hallway.

The main door of the rainbow room flung open and Papa entered inside.

"Good morning everyone" he said with a smile.

"Good morning Papa" we recited in a bland tone.

He told us then that it was time for all of us to do our testing. So we all followed him in a single file line down the hallway to the big testing room.

We arrived in and sat down on the floor beside the door.

"Today everyone we will be playing a game" he announced as he started drawing two circles on the floor.

"One of you will stand in one circle and the other will stand in the other circle. You will have to move the other person off their circle with your mind but you will be blindfolded." He instructed.

First to go were 003 and 016.

003 won.

Next was 003 and 014.

003 won again.

You couldn't stop 003 he was on a roll. He won against nearly everyone he came up against.

The only ones left then were me and 011.

011 went first against 003. At first nothing happened. She was standing her ground. She started moving back out of her circle and everyone thought she lost but she stayed strong.
Both of them didn't move for a while then suddenly 003 flew back smashing right into the wall and then plumeting onto the ground.

011 had won against 003.

It wasn't over though because it was my turn. How was I supposed to compete against her? Im going lose to an 08 year old.

I stepped in the circle and waited for the man with the yellow hair to put the blindfold on me.

When he tightly fixed it on I heard a faint "good luck" from him in my ear.

We started.

She was tough and hard to push back. I started to slip and I thought it was over for me but I found my feet again. I tried my hardest to push her back but she was too strong. All of a sudden I was pushed back to the wall.

I lost.

When I took off my blindfold though 011 was also standing out of her circle.

"I guess we have two winners! Your prize will be having an extra hour of free time for your great work" Papa grinned.

I looked at 011 and she looked at me. We both were smiling and quite proud of ourselves.
