Phoenix and Zane met a hell hound in an alleyway.

The man was on edge, looking around nervously. i'm

"Look man if you're not up to it, tell us now," Zane's hardened gaze pierced his nervousness.

"No! No, I'm up to it. I just need to contact these warlocks and let them know this chicks location?"

Phoenix rolled his eyes, "Let them know they've got inside help. We want the girl off the island- she's causing too much trouble. So, if you can meet with them and confirm their interest, get back to us with a deal. We'd pay both of you for doing the dirty work."

Zane continued for him, "Since we're higher up- we can slide you tips on where she might be. That'll make the job even easier."

The man nodded, greasy hair stiff on his head. "Yeah-Yeah I'm up for this."

"Looking forward to doing business with you. Keep this phone on you at all time," Phoenix slid the hound a burner cell. "We'll contact you only on this."

The berserkers watched the man nod frantically before looking around once more, leaving in a hurry.

Both Zane and Phoenix looked at each other, "Think that'll be good enough for bossman?"

Zane shrugged, "Hopefully that idiot doesn't fuck this up."

Phoenix scratched the back of his head, "We'll see."

Juniper was in one of Raphael's buildings that he used for work. Many people buzzed around, all of them berserkers that answered to Raphael.

Before letting her come with him, her mate had forced her into one of his obnoxiously large crew neck so she reeked of his scent.

As if his mark on her neck didn't change her scent enough. Juniper was in the crewneck and a small shorts as rain pelted on the windows around her.

Bear laid besides her, she was on a laptop on a couch.

Raphael's office door was open and she sat in the lobby. Despite his grumbling she sat out here, because he could get snippy when he was doing paperwork.

They were reluctant about going out more, but Juniper truly could not stand to be cooped in the house any longer. Both agreed if she were to go out it would only be with Raphael.

While she thought, Juniper got a text from Seraphina. A text confirming she'd bought what Juniper asked her to.

Just as the demoness smirked in delight, the elevator to Raphael's personal lobby opened. The building was guarded so she wasn't too concerned, just curious as she glanced up.

A berserker, one she didn't recognize stepped out and halted when they made eye contact.

"Wow," he muttered.

Juniper's brows furrowed, eyes darting from the ginger haired man and the office of her mate.

The man smiled at her, "Sorry. Just didn't expect to see someone so pretty up here. Usually it's dreary with the boss."

Juniper frowned as he continued. "Are you his... sister or something?"

The woman almost wanted to balk. Glancing down at her skin, as if to check it was still very much brown.

The skin color that her mate very much was not.

"Is there a reason your talking to me...?" Juniper glanced around with a scrunched up face.
