Chapter 2

Chapter two:
Steve the hair Harrington.

"Wait so your telling me that your my cousin." I said whilst looking at robin who was in the front seat next to Steve.
"Uh huh." She said looking straight ahead, "Steve this isn't the right way!" She yelled as she turned to look at Steve frantically.

"Oh gee thanks Robin like I didn't know." Steve said and then paused,

"I was being sarcastic, this is the right way don't worry your stressing out the kid." He said as he nodded in my direction keeping his eyes on the road.

"I'm not a kid." I mumbled looking out my window, I heard someone snicker in the front. "What's so funny? It's true I'm almost 18." I said matter of factory looking at robin who was low facing my side on and Steve in the rear view mirror.

"Uh huh right, and I'm Harrison Ford." Steve said now smirking at me through the mirror with his shades on.

I just rolled my eyes and looked out the window as Robin and Steve began there conversation again whilst Robin was doing her makeup using the pull down mirror.

"And then there's Heidi, but the problem with Heidi is that she's going out of state for college, so it's like do I really want to start another relationship that has no point other than sex." Steve ranted of to Robin who no longer was listening. "I mean... I just don't know." Steve turned to look at robin whilst still looking at the road, "does that make sense to you?" He paused and sighed. "Robin! Are you listening!?"

"Um-I um.. yes yes." Robin said scrambling for words. "What did I say?" Steve asked Robin rudely. "Um you said something about sex with um- with Linda!" Robin said excitedly to Steve.
"No!, I'm talking about Hiedi ." "I don't care about your sex like that is more complete red than the hardest arithmetic problem, because I have to go to this stupid Pep rally and it's seven in the morning and I woke up looking like a zombie!" Robin blurted out looking in the mirror ag her face in horror, she turned to me, "do I look like a zombie?" She asked me. "No, you look nice Robin." I said to her encouragingly , "ugh I so look like a zombie." She said throwing her head to lean back on the seat.

"Oh, oh come on Robin, your worried about a basketball pep rally, you really expect me to believe that?" Steve asked Robin sarcastically. "Yes." Robin said pulling on her face. "So, we both know what this is about ok, I'm not buying that bullshit." He paused, "this is about vickie." He said smugly. "Absolutely not." Robin said looking at him. "Who's Vickie?" I asked now leaning forward to be in between their heads fully into the conversation now we had changed the topic from Steve's sex life which made me very uncomfortable.

"Well Vickie's this girl-" Steve was cut of by Robin, "she's no one cous, don't worry about it." Robin said looking at me then back to Steve giving him a look like he's said to much, " Anyway Vickie's not the wrong girl Rob, I know that." Steve said. "Yeah well you ask out a girl she says no, huge deal ok, I ask out the wrong girl boom, the towns weirdo." Robin said. "Yeah but I know Vickie is not gonna say no." Steve said looking at robin. "How do you know that Steve, I would love to know." Robin said passively.

"Robin Vickie definitely likes boobies ok." Steve said looking at robin laughing a little.

"Ew gross don't say boobies, there's a kid in the car." "Boobies," "again not a kid." I said. "Boobies, boobies boobies, I like boobies, in fact I love boobies." Steve said matter of fact Lu, "for example I like your cousins boobies." Steve said winking at me throw his glasses. "Ew Steve that's my cousin." Robin said. "You like boobies I like boobies and you know who else likes boobies?" Steve asked the question looking at me this time.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say Vickie?" I said smirking now realising what this conversation was actually about. " ok Steve enough with the boobies talk it's grossing me out." Robin said looking out her window. "More like turning you on." Steve said giggling.
"Ugh!" Robin sighed loudly.

We finally arrived at Hawkins highs school, pulling into the parking lot, Steve Robin and I got out of the car. Immediately I noticed people staring at me as I walked to the front doors with Steve and Robin. Steve looked down and saw me looking around at everyone staring at me. Steve fell into step with me and wrapped one arm around my shoulder. "Get used to it kiddo, it's going to happen a lot more now." Steve said smirking whilst looking ahead. "Great." I said sarcastically.

As we walked into school I saw a group of boys gathering around a locker, as we got closer I realised it was the three boys who were riding their bikes down the street last night.

"Hey Henderson, Mike and Lucas, I'd like you to meet Robins cousin, the one the only Ekaterina." Steve said as he pushed me forward closer to the group.

I stood there for a moment not knowing what to say.

" quick question." The one who I was told was Henderson, "Do you play dungeons and dragons?"
