▪︎ one date
It was a sunny day. Perfect for a date. Under the ceiling lights of a famous restaurant, Iori Utahime sat patiently. She was waiting for her blind date that Shoko set up.
Yes, she is on a date.
Dating was really not on top of her list, but she does try to get out and date. Given the right man, romantic relationships might turn out to be a pleasant experience. She trusts Shoko, so she'll try this one out.
It has also been a while since she last went on a blind date. She even feels a bit of excitement rushing inside. Curiosity filled her mind about who might she be meeting.
The one she's meeting is also a jujutsu sorcerer. However, Shoko said that he also has a life out of exorcising curses. Her life before and now revolves around being a jujutsu sorcerer. Difference is now, she's also a teacher. The man might be refreshing to talk to and date.
She was relaxed while sipping tea. People came and went, murmurs and whispers surrounded her as she sat waiting patiently in the restaurant. There were families and couples around her.
"U~ta~hi~me~!"
Oh, that voice.
He just called her name, but she already feel exhausted.
Utahime felt the tall, strong presence of a certain white-haired man. She also felt the stares of people around her. No one can deny it, not even her, that Gojo looks like a model. A supermodel, even.
"Gojo."
"Why are you mad?" Her tone was low, and Gojo was used to Utahime yelling at him.
The man finally came into her view. He looked down at her while standing beside her table. He wore his round, dark glasses, but one can still sneak a peek of his dazzling blue eyes.
She closed her eyes and sipped her tea once again. "I am not mad."
"You look mad though? C'mon, Utahime, don't frown like that. You won't get guys." His expression looked as if he was really giving her useful and serious advice.
Gojo wore a very clean and neat white polo with the first two buttons undone. He paired it with stylish black jeans. A black coat was aslo hanging from his arm.
"I don't care about your opinion, you jerk. There are guys who likes me."
Probably. She just doesn't want to be told that guys won't like her because she will be meeting one any time right now. Gojo is adding to the pressure.
"Really?" he said in disbelief.
"What the heck are you even doing here?"
"Curious, are we?" he teased.
More like, worried.
"I have a date~"
A weight was lifted off her shoulders. Thankfully, there's someone else who's going to suffer because of Gojo. Not her. She doesn't even care about his date.
If he was there to really annoy her or just eat the famous sushi they serve here, her date will turn to hell. There were multiple instances in the past where Gojo unpromptedly disturbed her meetings.
She exhaled, a small smile gracing her lips. "Have a nice date then."
Gojo tilted his head to the left, " Why are you being nice?" Her small smile didn't escape his eyes. It was nice to see her smile, but why?
"I am nice."
"Suspicious," he narrowed his eyes down, hand on the table as he leaned closer. Like he's interrogating her.
