After lunch, Gojo dragged Utahime to the mall. Everywhere they went, he would receive a lot of stares from people around them. Beside him, Utahime felt invisible. But that's alright.

Stopping at one boutique inside the mall, Gojo pointed at the signage. "Utahime, this store looks cool."

She felt relieved that it wasn't a lingerie store. A bickering scene will probably occur right in front of that store. No way will Utahime let Gojo take her to that kind of store. Because it will be awkward, Gojo would tease the heck out of her, and it's kind of an intimate thing that can be often seen among couples.

Gojo walked in like he owned the store. A quiet Utahime followed behind him. It was a very pretty store that seems to sell women's clothing mostly. She wondered if he came in here to either pick up girls that fell to his charms or if he's buying for a woman he's currently... what's the word? Playing with?

The thought felt icky. Poor girl.

At the very least, she wished that the girl Gojo is with or will be with is aware of his terrible personality.

A good face doesn't always pair up with a good character.

Soon enough, Gojo got busy talking to a girl. A really pretty and fashionable lady. Her hair was straight down her back, and she's wearing modest clothing. Gojo may be a jerk, but he got good eyes.

Utahime doesn't want to be involved in their conversation. So, she went to a nearby display of clothing. She peeked through the clothes displayed. Not really planning to buy anything, just window shopping.

"Good afternoon, ma'am. May I help you?" A nice-looking man asked her. His nametag read Kai.

"Oh, no, not really. I'm here with someone who'll probably buy something."

"That guy?" He pointed at Gojo. Utahime nodded. "Is he perhaps your boyfriend?"

She almost choked on nothing when he said that. "God, no."

"Really?" he asked. "I saw you coming with him, and I thought you were together. Then, I saw him being with that lady instead of you. I assumed that you were fighting."

Utahime chuckled, "No. He can do whatever he wants. As long as it doesn't affect me."

"I'm sorry if it's nosy. We stand all day long, so we tend to observe people."

"It's okay, don't worry about it." She waved her hand dismissively.

"Well, anyway. If you plan on buying clothes soon, I am totally recommending this kind of clothing."

Utahime smiled at how it felt like "business is business."

Kai pulled a dress from the arranged clothes in front of them. It was a dark violet off shoulder dress. The fabric was really soft to the touch. Utahime estimated that it would fit her and end at her mid thigh.

"Wow... this looks nice."

"It would look very nice on you too, ma'am."

Utahime laughed softly, "You're a very convincing man."

"I do hear that often," Kai said.

Suddenly, a hand slipped beside Utahime's waist. A grinning Gojo appeared out of nowhere. This, of course, shocked her.

"Gojo!"

"What do we have here?" he asked, staring down at Kai. He was taller than both of them. His sunglasses hung low on his nose.

"Good day, sir. I was recommending a dress for her." Kai gestured at the dress he was still holding. "Wouldn't she look nice with this, sir?"

"She'll look nice in everything."

"Wow, this man seems so be whipped," Kai thought.

Utahime pinched Gojo's sides. "What are you doing, you jerk?"

"Spoiling you, of course!" he exclaimed. "I'll buy that dress."

"What?"

"And..."

Before he could add anything else, Utahime covered his mouth with her hand. "I'm sorry, Kai-kun. Will you please give us some time alone?"

"Sure!" He left shortly after giving Gojo the dress.

"What has gotten into you?" Utahime asked right away. "That guy thought we were a couple fighting because you were flirting with that girl. Now, you do this. He's going to think we were really a couple."

His arm was extended, and his hand still laid on her waist. Utahime had to look up at him to properly talk to him. From an outsider's point of view, it looked like a public display of affection.

He shrugged, "I wasn't flirting with the girl. I was asking. What's so wrong about the thought of us dating?"

"Seriously, what is going on inside your head?"

"What do you mean?"

"This, and back at the restaurant too. You've been acting extra annoying."

Gojo laughed and focused his eyes on the clothing rack in front. "I thought I was always annoying."

"You are, that's why I said 'extra annoying'."

"You won't win men with that attitude, Utahime," he joked.

She rolled her eyes, "If you left me alone with my blind date earlier. I would have probably been with a man now."

His expression grew serious. Blue eyes slid over to the side, staring at her. "Why do you even want to date anyone?"

"Companionship, I guess. It wouldn't hurt to try."

He leaned in. Her wide eyes stared back at him. The way his eyes sparkled did 't go unnoticed with how close they were.

"Date me."

"Hmm?" she asked, not sure if she heard right.

His other hand took her's. "Date me, Utahime. If you really want to be with someone."

She burst out laughing, almost doubling over. Gojo just stared at her all throughout. He wasn't even entirely sure himself of what he said. But he said it anyway. Dating Utahime may not have been on top of his list, but it definitely crossed his mind more than once. All he needed may have been a trigger to actually pursue it.

"I'm serious."

Utahime blinked. Again. Then, once more. She couldn't remember a past moment where she saw this kind of Gojo.

"Me? Dating you? Gojo, have you gone mad?"

"Maybe," he said with a small smile. "There are no cons in dating me, you know."

"Your entire being is a disadvantage."

He laughed, "Come on, senpai."

He started picking out different clothes. Clothes that she had a terrible feeling would be for her.

"Who are you shopping for?" she lowly asked.

"For a stubborn senpai who won't accept my dating proposal."

"You don't have to shop for me."

Gojo grinned. By that, Utahime felt that she lost.
