"You look very pretty."
"Can't you just wait outside?"
Utahime is currently in a room with other bridesmaids doong their makeup and just overall getting ready for the wedding. And Gojo freaking Satoru's here.
"No can do, outside is boring."
"You look like a creep there!" He's sitting on one of the couches facing the makeup tables and mirrors. Other bridesmaids were shuffling around in their white and red dress that reaches the floor. Four of the bridesmaid have different variations of the same theme: a satin dress with red top and white for the skirt bottom. Her style was an off-shoulder one with mermaid style skirt.
"Hey, I asked every one of the bridesmaids before staying here. They all said yes! And it's not like I'm watching them, I'm using my phone."
She was standing in front of her while she's trying to convince him to go outside.
"And now, all of the bridesmaid kept giggling because of you."
The bridesmaid kept talking about how handsome and hot he is. It started to get real annoying.
"Why? Because I'm hot?"
She frowned and walked away to continue doing her makeup. Afterwards, she decided to sit down beside him while waiting for the ceremony to start.
"The vibe's good," he commented as he tapped on her leg. "Your dress is really pretty. Why don't we take this home, huh?"
"It's rented, you fool."
"Yeah, but it can be bought, can it?"
"Probably, but you will not."
"I think this'll make you more glamorous." He pulled out something from his pocket. It was encased in a dark violet velvet box.
"Is that a ring!?" she suddenly yelled. The other bridesmaids glanced over at her and started gossiping again.
"What? Would you want a ring?" He popped the box open. Contrary to her expectation, it was a pair of earrings. It was a deep red ruby jewelry that matched well with her outfit.
"Wow, that's beautiful."
"Of course, I have good eyes."
He took one and attached it to her. Then the other one. After that, he brushed some fallen strands from her hair in a bun.
"I mean it when I said you are very pretty."
It was one of those rare moments where what he days really, 100% felt genuine right away.
"Thank you."
"Okay, so back to what I was asking. Would you have wanted a ring?"
The wedding proceeded smoothly. Their vows were absolutely beautiful. Now, they are in the reception, and it was magnificent. It was very classy. There was a sparkling chandelier, the food looks absolutely great.
"If we get married, would you like this kind?"
She choked on her food. "What?"
With a grin, he handed her a glass of water. "You should've seen your face."
"What are you talking about, you idiot?"
"What? It's a genuine question." He took her hand and kissed it gently.
"I'm not going to answer that. It'll just invite more teasing from you."
Suddenly, the host called for all who wanted to join the event of catching the bride's bouquet. Singles walked towards the center where Aoko was standing beside the house. The audience cheered.
