Help her - Eddie Munson

Eddie Munson strolls lazily through the halls of Hawkins high school.

Decked out in his usual decorations, the boy ignores the glares and whispers sent his way.

In fact, he revels in it.

A grin makes his way onto his face as he walks past the basketball team, who all send sneers and remarks toward him.

Smiling to himself the long haired boy flips them his middle finger before continuing down the hall to his locker.

Slamming his fist into the cold metal of locker number 237, his rings cause a clang to ring through the walls as the door swings open.

He grins in success as he begins to rummage through his extremely messy locker. 

Abandoning his bag and grabbing a single notepad, Eddie turns to shut the door when he sees her.

Eden Walker.

The girl he had been curious about for a while now.

Eden sighed heavily as she pushed open the door to her school.

She absolutely hated it here.

The other teenagers there treated her just about as well as you'd expect.

It was a mix of sympathetic looks and disgust.

It always was.

She found high school hard for multiple reasons. 

One she didn't care about her grades or classes.

Two she had to constantly avoid the school counsellor Ms Kelly, who was constantly trying to talk to her.

Three she has no friends.

Making her way towards her locker she can't help but feel someone's eyes on her.

And not in the usual way of just sending her a glance or sneer this was full on looking at her.

Glancing up from her scuffed shoes she catches the culprit.

Eddie Munson.

Or the Freak as everyone called him.

The girl had known about Eddie since Kinder Garten when he had stolen her lunch box. 

She never really paid much attention to the boy through middle school, and only spoke about him in high school when someone brought him up.

She also admired the boy.

Admired his bravery to be who he was, no matter what people said about him.

She wished to have that confidence again.

Shrugging off his gaze, Eden stops at her locker to discard her bag. 

She pulls out her required belongings before heading towards her first lesson English.

Eden lets her head fall to the desk the second she sits behind it. 

She wasn't sure how much longer she could do this stuff for.

It was now third period. 

Eden had practically slept through English and Maths and now had PE.

Aka a free period in her eyes.

The PE teacher for her grade never gave a shit. 

Basically just sat on his arse probably drunk off his head the entire time.
