Decisions

Yes, I rode all the way back to America with Luke. Was I upset? A little. Did I regret anything? Absolutely not.
Currently we are in a cab back to Haily's apartment, where the guys were hopefully waiting. We had already texted their phones a million times but ,with repition, we got no answer. I personally was getting a little worried about them, that included Haily.
Luke kept looking at me with that look of worry every time they didn't answer. I would smile at him to reusure that they were alright. That's how it went for about an hour.
Finally the silence of nodes and smiles, which spoke a million silent words, was broken.
"Are we a thing, Ski?" Luke asked focussing on the road, his eyes never blinking.
"Yeah, I am pretty sure. I mean.... You kissed me and you told me that you liked me. Plus I heard the first part of your and Calum's conversation." I said to him .
"Oh," he made a confused face, " I was just wondering."
It got quiet into a dead silence.
"Where are we going on the tour?" I asked trying to break the silence.
"I don't know that yet." Luke replied, a sad look planted on his face.
"What is wrong Luke." I gave him a worried look.
"Nothing's wrong babe." He gave me a smile and a nod of reassurance.
I smiled back but I knew that something was wrong.
We pulled into Haily's apartment building parkinglot. I opened my door to climb out but then I noticed that Luke wasn't even moving from his seat.
"Luke? Are you coming?" I looked at his blank face.
"Yeah, I am sorry babe, I just....I just have a lot on my mind. I am coming. I just need a minute." He said blinking and looking at me.
"OK I - I am going upstairs. I will see you in a minute." I reached in and kissed his soft cheek.

Luke's POV:

There defenatly was a reason that I stayed in the car. I am like girls on their periods. I am an emotional wreck. One minute I am peachy sweet and the next...well... I don't even want to talk to anyone. Do I call this a....umm.... Man period.
I began to think about when I didn't really have feelings for Sky but I thought she was a great girl with a beautiful voice. I didn't realize how much she would mean to me if she left or I lost her. When I was that person and I first heard her sing, the boys and I set up a camera in the studio. It got her whole performance on video. We sent the video in to a music school and the accepted her to the school.
I do and don't regret sending that video. I do because because that girl loves music. She had even told me once that she wanted to be a song writer or a music artist. I don't because I probly wouldn't see her for a long time. We had just got back together and now we would be gone again. Slowly forgetting each other.

I opened the door to see the boys and sitting on Haley's couch. Sky was on the opposite couch and Haley had just walked in with some food.
"Hey guys!!" I walked in smiling. I didn't want to make it obvious to the guys and Haley that I wasn't well. Sky seemed to think I was better.
The boys looked at me and jumped from the couch. They surrounded me with a group hug and Haley offered me some food.
"Luke, it has been the longest four days of our lives!" Micheal squealed.
"Yeah!! Are you guys ready for that TOUR!!!" I yelled and the guys yelled behind me. We sounded like a bunch of footballers before a game. The girls laughed at our ridiculousness.
"Was Australia fun?" Haily asked walking to the kitchen.
"It was amazing. I think Sky and I really bonded." I said following Haily into the kitchen.
"So are y'all dating? Cal told me something about you kissing her." Haily wondered.
"I-oh that- yeah I kissed her and we are dating." I said rubbing my kneck.
"Oh. Yay. Can you put these in the sink?" Haily handed me some plates. I set them in the sink.
"Haily, can I tell you something?" I said climbing onto her island counter.
"Yeah, spit it out!" Haily erged for me to talk.
"Well do you remember when we sent that video into that school about her singing?"
"Yes"
"Well today I have to give her that same note and I don't want her to leave."
"Luke. The only advise I can give is that if you love someone you will let them go because they will be happy." Haily smiles and patted me on the back. Leaving me alone in the kitchen.
I repeated Haily's words in my brain over and over. If you love someone you will let them go because they will be happy.
If I let her go, how would I be happy.
Is happy even a thing anymore. Since I thought about that note, I really didn't have happiness anymore. Well not counting the boys.
I decided to go join them in the living room. They were chatting and laughing. Caleb and Anna had joined. Anna sitting close beside Caleb and not Micheal. Are they dating anymore?
I took a seat beside Sky. She glanced at me smiling. Haily came over and handed me a note. I knew what it was without looking at it. My heart grew heavy as I handed it to Sky.
"Here is a surprise for you Sky." I said.
"Thanks." She said opening the paper.
She glanced at the paper and covered her mouth in awwe.
"Oh my Gosh!" She gasped.
"Don't just leave us hanging! Read it!" Calum said.
"OK" she paused to catch herself, " Dear Skylar Marie Davis,
We have accepted you to join us at Merrigold Music School. We love your singing and we only look for the best. You my freind, are the best. We look forward to seeing you. This letter is your ticket here. Show them this and they will let you come. Your flight leaves on April 20.

"That's tommarow!" Micheal screached.
" This is an honor but how do they expect me to get ready in time?" Sky complained making me a little happier.
"So...so you're not going." I said with a little hope in my voice.
"Of course I am going silly." Sky said smiling and kissing my cheek.
"I think I need to step outside. I- I just need some thinking time to find an idea on how to help." I lied.
To tell the truth, I felt sick. My heart had just been ripped out and chewed up. My stomach ached and I just wanted anything to go and hug her and never letting her go.
This is probly how she felt when I left her. I really hope she doesn't forget about me, and this happens again.
Then it started to rain and I felt heart broken and alone. Then Sky came out and I couldn't help but smile at her.
She stood beside me and put her head on my shoulder, wrapping my arm in between hers.
"Luke," she said quietly, " just because I am leaving doesn't mean anything."
"Yes it does. It means I won't get to see you."
"Sure you will. We have Skype and ooVoo." She smiled.
"It isn't the same as being able to be with you." I whined.
"Luke, what am I going to do with you." She sighed and began walking away back to the door.
"I know something you can do with me. You could do that sexy kiss that couples do in the rain." I gave her a cute look.
She smirked and turned around. She walked up to me and grabbed my neck. I felt her minty breathe leak into my nose.
The next thing I felt was her soft lips interlock with mine. She kept her hands around my neck slightly moving them. I moved mine around her waiste and pulled her close. I wanted this last forever.
Then she pulled away smiling. I was glad she liked it. I wasn't exactly the best kisser in the band.
"Join us when you gather yourself." She said smiling while I watched her walk away. My face all doped with a lovey expression.
When she was gone. I stood there thinking. Shit, I had fallen hard for her. This was going to be the hardest staying away from her.
In my future I could see a lot of booze, Netflix, ice cream, Sweet goodbye by Maroon Five, and cuddles. I was going to be like, I have said this before, a girl on their period. :/ :'/ :'(
