You savoured this moment, his scent was full of earth and sweetness. His embrace was enough to find some courage and ask him: "Can I see your eyes? I already feel connected to you, I just want to connect with you even more. Please, Seonghwa." You pleaded. 

"But what if your body can't take it? You already experienced one brutal meeting today. I don't want to be the reason you suffer, princess." 

"I can take it because you are here with me. Also, maybe not every of our meeting will be this hard. Maybe there will be no pain. We can try it and then we know if I should meet the others today, or not." 

"I don't think this is a good-" "Please, Seongie." 

There was a short silence before he let out a sigh. "How could I say no to you when you are so cute? Okay." "Thank you!" You were nervous, but you knew you wanted this. You closed your eyes and leaned back so that you could sit in front of him. You could feel how he positions himself that he would face you with his body. 

"You can open your eyes, whenever you are ready, princess." You took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. And as you felt like there was no air left you opened your eyes. You were faced with his dark brown eyes. There were almost black but they for sure sparkled like the sky at night. They were gorgeous, you instantly fell in love with them. In the corner of your eyes you could see a smile forming on his lips. 

But before this smile could reach his eyes his whole face was distorted with pain. And in that moment you could feel it too. It was like a dagger was rammed in your heart. And just as you thought the pain was bearable the invisible dagger was jabbed again and again inside your heart. 

Your eyes never left each other. His pain was visible in his eyes and this only made your pain even stronger. Seeing him like this. 

He put his left hand on top of his chest, where the pain was located. You raised your right hand and put it on top of his. Intertwining your fingers, giving him all the strength you had left. Even though the pain was still visible in his eyes you could also see love and admiration. 

He put his right hand on your cheek to wipe away your tears, that were now falling freely down. You stayed in this position caressing and strengthen each other. After 5 minutes, that felt almost endless, the pain slowly began to fade away. 

You both didn't faint throughout this meeting. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath and as you opened your eyes again you could see his heartwarming smile. You couldn't help but also smile happily bag. And then he took your left arm and pulled your sleeve up. You could feel how proud he was that there was his name now too. 

Mine. - Yes, I'm yours. 

Your eyes met again, surprised by the short conversation only happening inside of your minds. 

Honestly right now, it's not even shocking me anymore. He chuckled at your statement. Well, if we are 9 soulmates, why not mind reading ones too? Who knows what else is normal with all this abnormality. 

He stood up and got another bottle of water, drinking it all at once. He looked at you and frowned. Then he stepped closer and took your hand in his. 

Seems like we can do this only while touching, princess. Do you want also some water? The meeting was quite tiring for me, not to imagine how tired you must be after that was the third one for you... "I would love to have some water. Thank you, Seongie." His smile grew even bigger at his pet name and he gave you a cold bottle of water. 

There was a peaceful silence while you drank the bottle. You took your time while he played with strands of your hair. "Do you think I could meet the others?-" And before he could protest, and his protest was clearly visible on his face, you added: "I mean without eye contact. I just would like to be near all of you. To get to know you all. I don't know anything about you all, just some of your names. But not even every name of my soulmates...I mean I really wanna talk to you all. Maybe I could close my eyes and you take me back to the big room?" 

You looked at Seonghwa with big eyes full of hope. A little pout on your lips. His eyes flickered down to your lips and then found there way back to your eyes. 

"This actually sounds like a good idea, princess. BUT I think we should cover your eyes. I don't want that you accidentally open your eyes and after experiencing this meeting, I'm sure you shouldn't take another one today. Maybe not even tomorrow. You should rest first and recover from all this stress." 

You smiled at him and nodded. With that he took his silk scarf and blinded you with it. Carefully tying it behind your head. As he was done he kissed your forehead Are you ready, princess?
