Hello Sophie!

There was a heavy silence before one of them began to speak. 

"Hello Sophie, I'm Hongjoong, it's nice to meet you. I think we all are nervous right now." he let out a small chuckle. "To be honest we weren't sure if there would be a soulmate for us. I mean we got each other. And I'm so grateful for my members. But no one of us got the ....ehm....typical soulmate moment when we first looked at our eyes. And now you are here...wow! I still can't believe it. That's so amazing. I don't know what you know, obviously, we just met -" he was interrupted by a soft voice "Hyung! It's okay. Breathe." 

Then there was silence again while you could hear Hongjoong taking deep breaths. You could feel how the attention was on Hongjoong. The first time you came in here, you thought that not everyone was looking at you. Seonghwa must have felt your relief. Please wait a moment, princess. I will be right back! 

And with that short message he stood up and said something in korean to the others. You tried to understand what he said through Mingis mind. But he was still worried about Hongjoong. His thoughts were full of concerns and that only made you slightly more anxious. 

A few moments later you could hear Seonghwa's voice behind you. You could hear him talk to the members and then shuffle around the room. You could make out that every one of them shifted a bit and came closer to you. After that you could feel Seonghwa sitting back again next to you. He took your hand in his. Open your eyes, princess! And you weren't sure what has happened, but you trusted him so you slowly and carefully opened your eyes. 

They sat in one line right before you three on the couch. All of them had a blindfold on. So you could see them without the risk of another meeting today. A big smile was immediatly on your face. "Thank you!" You embraced  Seonghwa in a hug. And you could see the small pout on Mingis lips, so you turned to him and  held his hands. 

Can you help me translate? You could see the surprise in his eyes as they went wide. Please, let this be our little secret for a while alright?  Just between the three of us. We don't know why we can do this mind reading thing or if it will be possible between every one. He slowly nodded. And after a short moment you could sense his excitement about this little secret. So you can understand me? My bad english is no problem? We can talk to each other! Now it was your turn to get a little excited, you knew how much you will love this adorable person in future. He was so perfect. They all were!

Can you say to them that I understand when they talk in korean? You just have to translate my english. - I think they all can understand english, it's just the talking that is so difficult. Mingi answered in your mind. Even better. Should we start?  While Mingi let the others know that they could talk korean to you, you turned your head to Seonghwa and he gave you a reassuring nod. 

"Hongjoong should start, do you think you can handle it, hyung?" 

"Yes, I think I will. It was the english and the first time speaking to her. And it will be easier now that I don't see her sitting there like an angel..." The last sentence he whispered but Mingi could hear it nevertheless and so you could understand it. You saw a light blush appearing on Hongjoongs cheeks.

"Hello Sophie, I'm Hongjoong, the leader of Ateez and....one of your soulmates!"
