Well, catering well to guests and catering food is always a big (big) part of being a WAG.
And it doesn't matter which type of WAG you are, or which part of the world you reside in.
I remember catering quite a lot of guests for my boyfriend's surprise birthday (although I did ask him whether or not he'd like his parents present).
I ended up inviting all of his teammates, parents (whom enjoyed and left early), and some of his own best friends that aren't in the team, or the football world, matter of fact.
The catering went well, but I had attend to many different people and events: including some nauseating persons, and some friends making out in the corner (goodness me, please - no).
I had to hold a champagne glass (which I could not drink out of, it was for show) and walk around, greet people, explain the reason for this party and smile - a lot (even if I didn't mean it).
When my boyfriend walked into the catering in blindfolds, he was excited and I was the one behind the microphone that belonged to the DJ.
And yes, I had to be the one staying behind handling all the fees and expenditures afterwards, as my boyfriend slept on two chairs placed in a row (he was sleeping soundly after some shots from the lads).
No one really helped me organize a thing, and this means to cater well with guests - to fake smile, to hold a champagne glasses, walk in heels all night - and earn nothing but a sweet thank you, as I had.
I remember the next day, waking up in the cradle of my lovely boyfriend's, and him groggily kissing my forehead and thanking me for an unforgettable night.
That was my best thank you, and every bruise on the heels of my feet were worth it.
