Elder! Age is just a number

Chapter 1

He looked at the invitation card he had got from the pack's alpha. He sighs and puts it into the drawer and divert his attention back to kids playing in the room. He has made them perform some origami related activities. Jason, the alpha's son, looked at him with a big smile. " Teacher, you will be coming to my brother's birthday party. Right?"

He asked to which Oliver only smiled. "I am not promising you anything. But I will try my best to come." He told Jason and pats his head. 

Just like this the whole day passed again and in the afternoon the parents were there to pick their kids up. Oliver sees the children off while greeting their parents too. He knew what they all thought of him. For them, he was the reason their future alpha was driven away. He wasn't able to even attract the person he was mated with and at the end he lost that person and became an incapable person. Yet the present alpha regarded him and tried to give him a respectful place in the pack by giving him the title of ELDER. 

It was something only a capable person should be called. Elders are those who can make decisions after the alpha and luna. They gave him authority but he simply chose to live in the normal society rather than the pack. 

Oliver locked the daycare building and went back to his own room that he had rented. He was again thinking about the party that he had to attend after a long time. It was not like he was an introvert; rather he just wanted to stay away from these people. He took the money from his savings and went to buy a gift. 

Looking at all the things he was too confused to buy anything. Edward won't be of age where he can be happy on receiving a toy. After a lot of thinking he bought a nice perfume and got it packed. As he was going back to the house he saw a group of friends hooting outside the cafe where a girl had professed her love to a guy. It was a nice and cute thing but the guy's expression said otherwise. "You think I was being serious when I said you were pretty?" The guy asked as he ripped the letter into two pieces. " No Julia! I just said it, because the guy picked the small pastry off the table and threw it on the floor. " cause you were being annoying and I too wanted to mess up with your brother through you. Now go and whine in front of him as I have no interest in you whatsoever." With this he stepped on the pastry and walked to the direction where Oliver was standing. 

Oliver, who was watching in shock, looked at the guy whose friends were now laughing with him. Oliver clenched the gift in his hand and moved faster toward his house. 

"He is the Elder everyone talks about." One of the friends of that guy whispered to him but being a werewolf his senses were strong enough to listen to that whisper. He started to walk faster and looked back from the corner of eye. He can feel the heated gaze on him. "He is quite petite for an Elder tho." Other one commented. "Obviously, he is an omega." Their whispers were making him uncomfortable so he switched to the longer but quiter route.

After reaching home, Edward took a shower and got dressed in comfy pants and shirt. 

The older omega, he kept thinking of him. There was something about him that triggered his desire to make him his omega. But he knew his limits. He may be a jerk to those he doesn't love but if he comes to treasure someone he will definitely cherish them in the most pure way. 

But he wasn't smitten by only one glance of that elder. It was just that he thought he was nice and it would be good to have him around. He went down to where his mother was cooking dinner. "Where is Bella?" He asked about his little sister he absolutely adores. "Your father took her to the park. She wanted to have some father-daughter time with him." She replied as she placed a kiss on Edward's temple. 

"They always go out without me." He whined to which Sarah, his mother, smiled. "We can have a date of our own." She winked and Edward laughed. "Sure Darling! Let's dump these two and start a family of our own." He played alone. 

"You guys want to start a family without us?" Adam, Edward's father, asked, acting all surprised. Bella just giggled and went upstairs to put her things away.

It was a day before birthday and the passing of the alpha title to Edward. His wolf, Dane, was being restless. He was being needy for his mate. "I won't allow my mate to leave us starting tomorrow". Dane whined and Edward rolled his eyes. "We are not even sure if we were able to find him tomorrow or not. Some people take years to find their mate. "stop it. Think about good things. What if he is someone we already know. Have you seen that petite thing with nice blonde hair?"  Dane gave a happy laugh while imagining the said Elder. "You know the Elder?" Edward asked Dane. "Yeah!! I saw him yesterday"  Dane' answer left Edward speechless. 

"Let's see who will be our mate. Hope we find him as soon as possible." Edward smiled and unconsciously thought of that Elder too.
So, I have started this new bl story. Hope you all will like it.
