Chapter 9

David smiled at Oliver and was met by the cold eyes. "You don't look happy, Elder." David asked by just then he witnessed the sweetest smile of Oliver that he gave to Edward. "A person cannot be happy with everyone. Specifically when they came uninvited to a family dinner." Oliver scoffed and went to Edward.

Michael was watching all the scenes from the balcony below which David was standing. He grinned at the thought and went downstairs to approach David.

Sebastian was in the kitchen with Harley when Sarah came to them. "Are you guys trying something new?" She asked and Harley nodded as she smiled. "Sebastian wanted to be with me. So we both are trying a thing we saw on YouTube." Sarah went to the fridge. "Sebastian! Can we talk for a while?" She said and Sebastian nodded. "Ok then! Come!" Sarah led him to the back of their house. "I have heard that you are Ralf's mate?" She asked Sebastian to stop in his tracks. "I- I don't know." He said as he looked at anywhere but Sarah. "Sebastian! Honey! You have to understand the situation. You just can't run away." Sebastian sniffed. "I don't want him. He- he always makes fun of me. I know, I too never talk. But him and Edward! They both! I don't like them." He said, making Sarah sigh.

"They won't do it. Especially Ralf." She tried to console. "Why? Just because I am his mate?" Sebastian scoffed. "Sebastian! You should look at your own behavior too." She said in a warning tone. "Don't you guys deserve it after what you did to uncle?" He asked and Sarah only glared at him. "Only our family. Not Ralf's." She said with gritted teeth. "Whatever!" He said and was about to leave when he saw Oliver standing as he leaned on the wall. Sebastian ignored and went his way. Sarah also noticed Oliver.

"Sometimes I pity you luna. And alpha too. You have to support the dead weight of John almost during everything. Isn't it frustrating?" He asked nonchalantly. "Stop doing what you are doing. You think I'll be deceived by you?" She sneered at him. "Will you not? Do you have an option here?" Oliver grinned at her. "Don't act smart luna. Your son's neck is literally in my grasp." He said in a sickly sweet voice. "He is your mate." Sarah said helplessly. "So!" He batted his eyelashes. "Oh! Don't worry. I love your son. I will keep him alive." He smiled, making Sarah look at him accusingly. "But he won't love you after this evil plan of your's." She said, making him burst into laughter. "Shut up you idiot bitch. It won't have happened if you stood up for me. Like you are doing it right now." Oliver came near Sarah, grabbing her arm forcefully. "Now look at you! I haven't even started and you are worried. What about me? My child? I lost everything. And now! It's your turn." He left her arm with a jerk and walked away.

Stefani looked at the family of five men in front of her. "So, when will you be shifting here?" Javier, Xavier's oldest brother asked for the third time. "We will both be moving out of our homes." Stefani said as she put her mug of coffee on the table. "It would be best. We did that too. Right Max!" Ron, Xavier's omega father said enthusiastically. But still have to glare at his husband to make him agree with him. Stefani smiled. "Sure Mr. Ron." She said making the omega squeal. Xavier facepalm. "Stefani! You said you wanted to see my room. Let's go." He said tugging at her arm. Stefani gave a stiff nod to Xavier's dad (alpha) and his brothers. She looked at Xavier's room and couldn't help but smile. "It's so cozy" she said as she lay down on a fluffy bed. Xavier giggled.

Stefani hugged his waist and made him fall on herself. Xavier touched her nose with his nose and placed a light peck on her lips. Stefani smiled and was about to kiss him when the door knocked. "Honey! Your gf's phone is ringing." Ron's voice came. Stefani rolled her eyes. She got up and opened the door. "I'll be leaving now, Mr. Ron. Take care." She said as she made her way to exit.

Edward was delighted by the fact that Oliver was ready to move in with him. He knew it wasn't a big deal for other couples in the pack. But for him, it was. He had to pull Oliver from his miserable state. Whatever John did. He had to face the consequences of it. Oliver was waiting outside his apartment when Edward came to pick him up. Oliver waved as he gave a small smile to Edward.

After settling down in Edward's car, Oliver grinned at him. "So, is this a new start?" He asked and Edward nodded enthusiastically. "And it would be the best one too." Edward said and lean in to peck Oliver's cheek

Oliver leaned his head on the seat and closed his eyes. " It will be soooooo much fun Sarah!" Oliver thought. "Your son is so naive. But well, I'll keep him for myself." A light blue spark of Oliver's eyes went unnoticed by Edward.

David was pacing around in his office. The people he sent to spy on Blood Moon were brutally killed. They were strong, so strong. But their deaths make him wonder about their killer. " Was that kid alpha really that powerful?" He questioned himself. "But what about those marks? They are unusual." He thought. The loss of talented pack members was making him shudder. If Blood Moon is this powerful, then his dream would be difficult to achieve. He needs that omega between his sheets.

Edward's smile sometimes makes Oliver wonder. How can an alpha grin like this. Isn't he worried about his reputation? "Ralf! Go and deliver these files to Marsh. He is in charge of managing the house construction." His voice came from outside the room. Oliver quickly fix his posture. Edward knocked. "You can come in, Edward!" He smiled. Edward came and marched toward Oliver. "They all don't take me seriously." He complained with a pout. "Well then, be a bit strict then." Oliver started making Edward pout. "I try to be. But then. I just can't." Edward looks around the room. "Is the place comfortable?" He asked, concern clear in his eyes. Oliver nodded. "I thought we would be...ummm..shar..sharing the room." Oliver said as he blushed. Edward looked at him with surprise. "C- Can we?" He said to which Oliver nodded. "Well then , let's go." He got up from bed yanking Oliver out of sitting position. "Let's go to my room." Edward said while skipping to his room.

"For the first time, I think, it would be fun to be with someone." Oliver thought and looked at their laced hands. "I'm never going to let you go." He smiled and placed a kiss on Edward's shoulder as he entered the room.
