Edward looked at Oliver who was watering plants. It has been 2 weeks since their date. Everything was going fine. "I'll have to leave for a pack meeting." He said and Oliver gently smiled. "It will go well." Oliver encouraged Edward. "Hmmm! Let's just hope. Ummmm!! Actually the thing is, all alphas will be with their Luna." He mumbled. "I'll be ready. Just tell me the timing." Oliver placed the can near the plants.

Oliver went to the pack house only to be greeted by Vanessa. "Oh Hi Oliver." Her sickening sweet voice made Oliver cringe.. "Hi!" He replied. "How are you doing?" He asked before she threw another question to him. "I am doing just fine. But these mood swings~" She said as she rubbed her stomach. "Oliver looked at her. "Oh! Congratulations." He smiled but his next words died down as an arm snaked around his waist. "Babe~" Edward said with his eyes on Vanessa. "I missed you " Edward placed a gentle kiss on the side of Oliver's head. "Awww! Young kids these days can't stay away from their mates. It must be new for you Oliver." Oliver gave a tight lipped smile. "Nope. It's nothing new. He is habitual of my kisses now." Edward said, nuzzling his head in Oliver's neck , smirking at an irritated Vanessa as she stomped away. "Why are you acting like a puppy when you're clearly an alpha" 

Edward chuckled. "I thought you like pups more. So, i can be one for you." He said proudly making Oliver roll his eyes. 

They both were going toward the venue of meetin. Oliver looked at Sebastian and Ralf. "Sebastian! Why are you being quiet?" Oliver asked. "Nothing Un~ Elder." He gave a tight lipped smile. "Well you always love to talk. That's why I asked" Sebastian looked at Ralf from the corner of his eye. "So Sebastian is a talkative one?" Ralf grinned. "Hmm." Oliver gave a slight nod after he noticed Sebastian's awkwardness from the rearview mirror.

"He'll be coming too with his Alpha?" The person asked his beta. "Yes alpha! He just got his second chance." The beta answered. "Heh! I never thought that the moon goddess would pair him up with some child."  Alpha took a drag of a cigarette. "I think you are a little late. In claiming your mate." Beta said to which alpha just smirked. "He survived his rejection. Dead mate won't affect him much." He laughed hysterically after his own comment. "You still have to be cautious. He isn't his 18 years old self anymore." Alpha nodded. "That's why it's more exciting.

"What are you thinking so deeply?" Ralf asked Edward as they parked the car. "I don't like Silver Moon Pack Alpha." He informed Ralf hummed. "He is quite nice though." Ralf said and Sebastian glanced over them. "We will be late if you guys keep talking." Edward rolled his eyes. "Babe it's still an hour left till the party starts." Ralf got a deadpan look from Sebastian. "I'll be with the Elder." 

Sebastian went to Oliver. "Why are you flirting with him?" Edward asked with a raised brow. "Who else should I flirt with? He is my mate." Ralf grinned, making Edward choke on his saliva. "What the hell~. For real?" Edward asked as they all entered the building. 

"Hello Alpha Edward, Luna Oliver, Beta Sebastian and Gamma Ralf." The host alpha of the Knight pack greeted them. Edward started to chat with them while Oliver looked around. "Do you want to go to the terrace Oliver?" Sebastian asked Oliver. "No! I would stay here. Alpha ignored me " Oliver pouted slightly. "We can't show affection to our loved ones when we are in these meetings." Sebastian said with a slight smile.

"Aren't you a bit too young to be sitting in these meetings?" The alpha of the rival pack mocked Edward. "Alphas with CAPABLE heirs usually pass down their pack to young alphas." Edward replied knowing fully well that he had hit a nerve. The alpha glared at Edward. 

Edward heard a chuckle. "You are quite amusing." David, alpha of Silver Moon, said. Edward gave a side glance, but said nothing. "So, it is decided that Blood Moon (Edward's pack) will be guarding north alongside Silver Moon?" Knight pack alpha said and all nodded. David gave a small, unnoticed smile to Oliver, but got a sotic face in return.

Edward glanced at David. David, who was staring at Oliver, smiled at Edward. Edward smiled internally. "I would love to collaborate with Silver Moon. Hope we get along well." Edward said politely. Sebastian looked at Edward like he is the most idiot person on Earth.

"Why are you welcoming him knowing well about his not so good intentions." Sebastian hissed at Edward. 

Edward just smiled at him. "I suddenly want to play a game," he grinned widely. "It would be fun to see that fucker lose" 

Sebastian only face palmed. "If you upset Oliver, I'll kill you." Sebastian threatened and moved away to avoid Ralf who was making his way toward him with Oliver. " Why do you guys keep fighting? Don't go hard on my soon-to-be wife." Ralf said, making Edward scoff. "Michael will kill me if I FIGHT with him." Edward said and this time Oliver glared at him. "Not only him. Stay away from my child." Edward pouted. "You love him more than me?" Edward said, giving him puppy eyes. "Do I love you?" Oliver asked with a mischievous smile. Ralf laughed at his statement. "Humphhh" Edward made his way to their car.
