Elder! Age is just a number

Chapter 6

Edward came outside the pack house. Michael was talking to Sarah. He left after a nod when he saw Edward coming to his mother. "Bro! Let's play." Jason came and hugged Edward's leg. 

He smiled and ruffled Jason's hair. "Mama!" Edward hugged Sarah from the back. "What were you talking about?" Sarah gave him a side glance. "Edward!" He hummed in response. "I have always told you to respect Omegas. Right?" She asked with a shaky tone. "Hmmm" he responded. "You won't make me feel ashamed if I let you have Olive?" She asked. Edward's eyes twinkle. "Of Course mama. I'll treasure Oliver." He promised. And Sarah sighs in relief. 

"I have talked to Michael." She told him as they made their way to their own house that was just a street away from the pack house. Actually it was Adam's house he gifted to Sarah. But obviously they all shared it like a fun hideout place. 

"Bella is with that child again?" Edward ask his mother

 "I have said that I don't like her hanging out with him. She is small. And that kid~''''is also small." Sarah cut his sentence with a scoff. "You guys don't give her space. Change your tactics or I'll kick all of your asses" she warned and Edward just grinned. "Take a video of you kicking Dad's ass. I wanna see." He commented earning a punch on his shoulder." "You brat!" She smiled. 

"Michael is hesitant to let you mark Oliver." She said and Edward's shoulder slumps down. "I understand." He looked down. Sarah looked at him with pity. "Everything will turn out fine. Believe me. Just don't let Elder go away from you. Make him feel treasured." She rubbed his shoulder. "Try to take him out." She suggested and Edward only nodded before going to his room.

Sebastian looked around as he was drawing something in his sketchbook. Noone knew that the big bad beta was good at handling colors. 

He completed the drawing and put the things in his bag he brought with him. He was sitting on the rock that was almost in the middle of the forest. This forest was separating two pack's territory. 

He was coming back when he bumped into Ralf. "Where were you?" Ralf asked casually but Sebastian being Sebastian, glared at him and kept walking. "Hey! Can't you answer my question?" Ralf pouted but Sebastian ignored him. "Well anyway, I wanted to invite you to my birthday party. It would be us friends only. But Oliver will be there too." Sebastian stopped in his tracks. "It's 'Elder' to you." He emphasizes.

"Duhh!! He is now my brother-in-law ." Ralf wiggles his eyebrows. Sebastian gave him WHAT THE FUCK look and quicken his pace. "I can't come. I have a test the day after your birthday." He said. And Ralf knew he was just giving excuses. 

"I'll talk to aunty Harley then." Ralf announced as he turned his back and as expected. "I'll come. Just don't go to mama." 

Sebastian whined and Ralf laughed at his victory.

Stefani was talking to her friends when she got a whiff of a smell. It was a vanilla scent that she always loved. Her eyes scanned the area of the mall they were in when she get the glimpse of a black head boy running away with a milkshake mug in his hands. He stopped and darted his eyes around too. 

On meeting his brown eyes with Stefani's green one he got flustered but stood in his place. 

She smirked, ran her hands through her black hair and moved toward him. "Hey honey!" Her way of addressing makes him look away. "Hello." He replied timidly.

"Let's go somewhere quiet." She said and guided him out of the mall while holding his wrist. "loosen up your grip. He is a fragile little thing" her wolf Sofia says. "Shut up! He's gotta deal with worse if we get into a relationship."  She scoffed and pinned the FRAGILE LITTLE THING to the wall. "Mate!" She said and he bared his neck to her. 

She smiled satisfied. "Name?" She asked. 

"Xavier Miller." He stuttered. "Stefani Walker." She responded. "Shall we go for a small walk or you prefer a cafe?" "I- I- let's go to the cafe." He said and Stefani nodded

Oliver was coming out of the daycare when he noticed Edward smiling at him as he was leaning on his car. "Oliver!" He waved at him. "Jason left an hour ago." He said. "I know. I came to pick you up. I heard that there is a library near here. I wanted to go there." He said smiling. Oliver stared at him for a while then nodded. "Sure thing. But I have to grab something to eat too." He said."We can go to the cafe first then to the library." 

Edward said grinning.

Oliver sighs but the light blush that tinted his ears didn't go unnoticed from Edward. 

"They have the best pastries here.I wanted to try them." Edward said and they both got settled in the car. "Actually can we stay in cafe for a bit. I wanted to talk to you Oliver!" Edward said as he drove to cafe. "Hmm." Oliver responded. "Thanks."

Oliver ordered a tart for him but Edward obviously ordered more. Oliver loved sweet things but he was too focused on not gaining weight. 

He looked at all the sweets with sparkling eyes but only ate a little bit. 

"Are these not to your liking?" Edward asked nervously. "No! I love them. They taste too good." He complimented. 

"So, Elder! I know that I was being too impatient on our first meeting. I should have been considerate of you. So I apologize for my behavior." Edward said as he looked down at the table. "But this doesn't mean that I am going to back down on making you fall for me." Edward smiled at Oliver. Making Oliver question him being an alpha. "I too act too recklessly. I should have given you time to complete our conversation." Oliver said and started rubbing his hands together. "Y-you know my condition. Right?" 

Oliver said, making Edward raise his eyebrows. "Condition?" Edward asked. "Umm…yeah. You see! You are my second chance." Oliver said with a bowed head. "I wasn't good enough for my alpha." His eyes were glossed. Edward can tell that he was on the verge of crying. "I- I lost my child which makes me into a barren omega." Finally, Oliver raises his head. Edward who was listening to him attentively smiled. "I know. But this doesn't make me see you as someone not important."

Edward placed his hand near Oliver's hand that was on the table. "You are my mate. I don't care about other things. It's not you who wasn't good enough for that alpha. He himself was a person who can't treasure the relationships he had." Edward said as he placed a piece of chocolate pastry in his mouth. "I wuv dis~" he said with a mouthful. "Are you sure you are an alpha?" Finally, Oliver asked him. "Yeah! Why?" Edward asked, confused. "Nothing" Oliver grinned at Edward and started eating little portions of all the sweets Edward had ordered. 

And Edward, well he was busy in telling Oliver stupid stories, he knew. 

Their cute little date was monitored by someone they didn't even notice. Since their pack was counted among the best. There were always people who wanted to bring them down. 

So, here goes the chapter 6. I ain't making Oliver into a crying mess when he literally have the best mate out there, apparently. Hope you guys will like this chapter.
