Childhood best friends who part ways after a sad incident on one of the family's sides. With no way to contact they are forced to move on with their lives, not forgetting each other as they move past the best times of their lives.
As a child, Aliyia and Zayden would write each other notes when they were bored and every time they met up with each other they exchanged the notes with each other. Not wanting to forget those memories they both kept the notes somewhere safe where they could always go when they needed comfort.
New year, new school. Aliyia's family has decided on moving to New York where her father can have a better job and provide more for his family. She is now forced to move to a different school 2 months into the school year.
She meets a guy who is forced to tutor her because of her late joining. He happens to be the #1 hockey player in the school division, he's also a joyful person.
What happens when they find the notes they gave each other as kids?
