Ryoka's POV:
Annoying.
So annoying.
Damn it, he is so annoying.
"Ryoka-chan, do you like this teddy bear keychain?" He handed some lame ass keychain to me.
Without even looking at it, I threw it away in less than a millisecond. I said, without looking up from the book I was reading, "Say, your name is Martin, right? How about you go and make out with your twin?"
In my peripheral view, I saw him looking confused. He replied, quizzically, "But he's my twin and he's a boy."
I sighed. "Who cares about gender? If it's yaoi, then a twincest is the number one best couple, you know!"
He blinked twice, giving off a huge vibe of question marks.
I sighed again. "Never mind what I just said."
The bell rang indicating it's time for us to go to the next class. I slipped the book I was reading to my bag and took out my math books. Then, I headed to the senior department.
"Echizen?"
My head snapped to the direction of the voice. "Oh, hey, Kirihara."
"You're also in the math classes?" He asked, in disbelief.
I nodded. "For me, it's labelled as advanced math classes though."
He sighed and glared at the ceiling as if to say Why the hell did you make her be here with me, you unfair God??!
He scratched his hair before saying, "Um, anyways, I have a favor to ask."
I asked, "About what?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose and was deep in thought for a while. Suddenly, he bowed to me and requested, "Please join the tennis club and attend the regular matches!"
"Hmm...Well, okay...but why?" I asked him.
He looked up at me in surprise as if he was actually expecting a negative reaction rather than a question. He replied after taking a while, "Well, you have to polish your basics to start over again."
I clicked my tongue. "Don't lie, noodle-head. You're not that soft. Tell me what's your real motive and I will join."
I could see him doing a sweat-drop and then, caught my gaze slowly. He fidgeted while saying, "Well, Saeki is the vice-captain...But she can't play with us because...Well, because of some circumstances.
"Hmm. Then?"
"Well, I want you to join because you're strong and I know it. Saeki's absence causes the tennis club to have a huge handicap. To win we must do and go with our best!" He replied, his tone getting louder by each word.
"Why? I asked. "Why are you so dead set on winning?"
His eyes bore into mine with an intense gaze. "Why? Of course, because I am Rikkaida's captain. And Rikkaidai always wins. No matter what."
"You say that, sempai, but Rikkaidai lost last year." A new voice interrupted our conversation.
My eyes looked right finding Hatori. Kirihara smacked his head and rubbed his fist painstakingly to Hatori's head. He yelled at him, "Don't ruin the moment Hatori!"
I inspected both of their behaviours for some time. Then, I commented, "You two are pretty close, you know. You both kinda' makes a good yaoi couple."
