The atmosphere in the spacious and bright hallway was gloomy and pressuring.

Wei Zhe glanced at Wei Jing sternly. His pitch-black eyes were mixed with a tint of helplessness and leniency. In a deep voice, "Open the door already. Why are you giving me an attitude?"

"Big brother, why did you come here?" Wei Jing felt his mind going blank. He only remembered that he shouldn't drag his big brother down, so his body subconsciously reacted. By the time he walked back to his room and calmed down, he reflected on what he had just done and wanted to pinch himself!

He brazenly locked his big brother behind the door, and twice at that!

"I came to pick you home." From across the thick door, they couldn't see each other. Therefore, Wei Zhe couldn't see how nervous Wei Jing was nor could the latter see Wei Zhe's sense of leniency.

"I'm not going back." He said this without hesitation. Wei Jing took a deep breath. His eyes mixed with a tint of dismay. He repeated again, "I can't go back."

He really...was going to rebel! Wei Zhe's forehead twitched. He turned around to say to his bodyguards. "Go downstairs and wait for me."

"That's...not good." The head of the bodyguards reminded tactfully, "Mr. Wei called us over to protect you. If something happens to you, we can't assume the responsibility."

Though they were here to protect him, they were here more so to monitor him. Wei Zhe curled his lips up and revealed a faint smile. He gazed at them coldly, revealing a dignified aura. It made one feel intimidated. He was clearly a young man, but he made a group of adults swallow their salivas in fear. "I said, wait downstairs. What? You're not even going to listen to your master? I should reconsider this group of bodyguards then."

He was clearly threatening them, but they couldn't find faults from his words either.

It goes without saying how important We Zhe was to Wei He. As long as he didn't court disaster, he was sure to be the heir to the Wei Family.

There was no need for them bodyguards to offend the other party for this small matter.

The head of the bodyguards thought about it for a moment before waving his hands and retreating with his people.

Only the two young boys were left in this tiny space. Wei Zhe knocked on the door again and he asked, "You're really not going to open the door?"

He stayed silent in the room for a moment before he trembled as he exclaimed, "Sorry."

The child's forehead was pressed against the cold door. The young man's voice appeared to be a bit distorted as it passed through he door. He felt sour and his eyes slightly became teary. He wore an oversized t-shirt, and his messy hair was pressed against his forehead like a little wild beast that no one took care of.

Right now, time seemed to be dragged out. It was unclear how long passed by before Wei Jing heard the young man's weak cry. "Ugh! It hurts so much!"

Wei Jing suddenly tensed up and revealed an anxious expression. He patted against the door with his tender hands as if he was the one that was locked outside. "Big brother, what happened? Did your wound start hurting again? Do you need me to call 120?"

The young man's painful panting drummed against Wei Jing's ears intermittently.

The child's heart thumped loudly to the point where he could hear his own heartbeat. What should he do? Although he was afraid of hurting his big brother if he went back, what if his big brother was hurt right now? Then what was the point of persisting?
