"You need my help."

The next day was a mess of scrambling together a plan for HYDRA. The team had been scattered all day, you spent most it training. Trying to get a lid on your powers but so far you were failing.

Loki.

He must have something to do with this or at least know what is happening to you. It's the only logical reason. For years you'd been able to control your power, for weeks at the tower you maintained your identity. Until he arrived. Since his eyes locked with yours the buzzing under your skin wouldn't stop. It flowed beneath your skin and the more you pushed it down the worse it got. The marks, he knew what they were. You need his help.

Now.

Great, he's going to love this.

Slipping your room you waste no time getting changed out of your pearl coloured sleep dress. It had been one of many gifted to you by your Grandmother. At first, you turned your nose up at the old-fashioned nature of it. However, the expensive vintage silk was too soft to get rid of. Plus it was a comfort you'd grown to hold on to, it made you feel good to own some luxury. Allowing yourself to live the secret dreams of being a princess in a faraway land was a therapeutic change from your Agent get up.

Sneaking down the hallway into the elevator you made your way to Loki's wing. Almost on cue, Loki's sleepy form emerges from the shadow into the living room. He hasn't noticed you yet as he goes to sit on the window seat with the copy of A Midsummer Night's Dream in his hand. But he wasn't reading it, only staring at the cover. Pausing he looks from the book to the door where you stand nervously. Taken back by your visit at this hour he stands slowly. Taking curious steps over to you on the other side of the glass door.

"A bit late for visiting hours witchling?" His voice is cold but his eyes are curious as he looks at you.

You don't respond straight away, your eyes already becoming glazy at witchling.

"Are you just going to stand there?" His tone has softened slightly looking into your eyes.

Snapping from your trance you wipe away any emotion. Pressing the buttons on the door, stepping in and closing it behind you.

You let out a shaky breath turning away from his eyes and walking over to the window where he had sat moments ago.

"Why did you come here, witch?"

"Don't call me that." You say in a small voice your back to Loki looking out at the night sky.

You can feel him move to stop two feet behind you. Too tired to care about the danger you've put yourself in as you stare out the window.

"You are stupid to come here. You have put yourself in a precarious position Agent."

You know you had. In your rush to talk with the god, you forgot your weapons. "I don't care Loki."
