I slam the door in Jack's face, still not wanting to talk. I had fun doing homework and walking in on Leloni and Forest, but I still need space.

I hear knocks on the door. "Shady, my backpack is still in there." Jack complains, sounding annoyed. I yank open the door and toss out his backpack.

I hear him walk down the hallway, and then his footsteps die away. I tug on my hair, pushing it out of my face.

On the floor where Jack's backpack was, is a folded piece of paper. I see red blotches on it, and I decide to open it later.

I put on a black hoodie, short shorts, and a muscle tank. My feet pad into the bathroom, pulling my hair into a messy bun at the top of my head.

I hum A Match Into Water and clean myself up, taking off my makeup and brushing my teeth, checking all my piercings and then checking on my throbbing arm.

It has started healing, scabs covering the slits, blood no longer spewing out and falling down my arm.

I groan when someone knocks on the bathroom door. I pull down my jacket sleeve and open the door to the hallway.

Leloni stands there, and she tucks a lock of hair behind her ear. "Um, you need the bathroom?" I ask, her form jolts from surprise.

"Uh, no. Jack is moping on the stairs, waiting for you." she says, her cheeks flushed and her form kind of reserved and closed off.

I nod and sigh. I go out of the bathroom and back into my room.

I hear snuffling and see Destiny sitting at her desk, looking at the screen of her laptop. She is shaking from sobs, not letting sound out though.

"Destiny? What's wrong?" I ask, coming up behind her. "I-I found t-that fanfiction you wr-wrote." she says, wiping her eyes.

"HOW COULD YOU KILL HIM?!? HE DIDNT NEED TO DIE!!" Destiny screams at her computer, slamming it shut. I immediately think of Gray when she says this, causing me to almost break down into a fit of tears.

Destiny registers this and immediately apologizes. "Oh, Shady I didn't mean- no it was the book- I'm sorry." she says, standing up and giving me a hug.

I totally fall apart, my protective walls crumbling down. I sob into Destiny, her arms around me protectively.

"Shady, it is not your fault. You didn't mean to hurt him, and in sure you never would. It's just a horrid accident." She soothes, pushing my hair away from my face.

I nod and screw my eyes shut, burying my face into her neck.

I take a deep breath and Destiny let's go of me, smiling and mouthing "I'm sorry" I just nod and check my phone. I have a missed call from an unknown number. I sigh and click on it, calling whoever it was back.

"Hello?" Says the voice, sounding like May just a little nicer and deeper. "Hi, you called me earlier, and I don't recognize the number." I say sweetly.

"Oh yes, this is Mrs.Waters, and I would just like to say that you can come visit Gray whenever you like." She says, her voice light and happy.

"Oh, thank you for calling." I say, dumbfounded. His mom is all happy, and he's going to die.

"Actually, do you think I could come over and see him now?" I ask, crossing my fingers behind my back.
"Of course!" She answers. "You're welcome anytime!"

I hang up and grab the keys to my motorcycle (yes, motorcycle.) I walk out of the house and get on the bike, turning it on and speeding away, my hair flowing behind me and my sunglasses resting on my face comfortably.

I stop at a red flight and set my foot down, ruffling my hair impatiently.

The light turns green and I speed forward, ignoring the honks from other cars.

I drive into the parking lot of the hospital, parking quickly and striding up to the building.

I get the room number from the nurse at the from desk and start looking around, trying to find Gray in the mass of patients.

I see the room number on a door and I all but run toward it.

The door pushes open smoothly and silently, clicking shut. I stand at the side of his bed, taking in his features. His black hair is curling from being un-straightened for so long, his cheeks are hollow and his skin is extra pale.

On Gray's face is a face mask, or breather, causing his chest to heave up and down slowly and mechanically. His hands lie at his sides, cold to the touch and frail, his veins popping out against his white skin.

His bright blue eyes are shielded from me, his eyelids clamped around the color I liked so much.

His lips are closed, chapped and dry from un-use, but still his lips. I bend down and press my mouth softly to his, getting my final kiss.

I hear the door open but ignore whoever comes in. I tighten my grip on his hand, unwilling to let go of him again.

A female voice clears her throat from behind me. I turn a fraction and see May standing there, her hands behind her back and her lips curled up into a cruel smile.

"I'm allowed to be here, your mom called me." I say smoothly, rubbing circles on Gray's hand.

"Oh I know. I'm the reason she invited you. My entire family wants revenge. You killed him. It's your fault he's going to die. And now, you'll suffer as he's suffering." May pulls her hands from behind her back and pulls out a hand gun, pointing it straight at my chest and loading it.

"It's over now Shady," She says coldly, her cruel smile turning into a grim some grin.

She pulls the trigger and the boom of the gun echoes throughout the building, but I feel no pain.

A/N sorry it's so short, gotta leave you hanging ;)
