Cutting ties

"Mahal pa rin kita." I sighed as I read his new message. Tinitigan ko rin ang halos hundred messages niya na which I only chose to ignore up to this point.
I have no other option so I pressed the call button to which he quickly answered, "P-Pia? Bakit ka napata--"
"Listen, I gave you so many chances to earn back my trust back then but.. you failed to do so. Instead, you kept breaking my heart, Tim. Ang sakit nun, sobra."
"S-Sorry.."
I can hear him starting to sob however I need to be firm enough, "But when someone eagerly fixed my shattered heart, napatawad na kita, Tim. So don't feel guilty anymore, hindi ako galit. Now I'm just very contented with him.."
"Sana ikaw din, Tim. Minahal din kita kaya I know how nice you were but I'm sorry.. sadyang hindi tayo itinadhana." I didn't wait for his response and ended the call. After that, I also blocked him.
The first step in moving on is cutting ties with me. In that way, he'll get over faster. I sighed. We were a really nice pair to be honest but sadly, we just didn't click.
Sinaktan niya ako, oo. But that doesn't mean, I want him to go through the same way I did. He deserves someone better. 'Yung someone na iyon, siya ang magfi-fill ng gap diyan sa puso niyang wasak. I hope that one day, someone will make him feel special.

based on what happened to me
in real life. We were like Cinderella's
shoe and Anastasia. We don't suit
each other. But I'm glad we don't
kasi ngayon happy na siya.
