"I... I like you!" I finally said, handing out a love letter as I stare at the floor. I have a crush on the person in front of me for years and now I mustered all the courage to confess.
I waited for a few more minutes but he didn't accept the letter. My heart almost sank at the thought of losing our friendship just because of my stupid selfishness.
I look back at him and saw how he covered his face with his hand. Worried, I ask, "Ivan, are you alright?" His face still covered, he replied, "Y-yeah." I felt relieved then but sad at the same time.
It looked like he doesn't have the same feelings so I put my letter into my pocket and ran away. But before I could go far away, he grabbed my hand and hugged me from the back. "I-Ivan?!"
"I'm sorry. I was just too shocked that you liked me too." My face immediately reddens at his statement. He snuggles into me and says, "I like you too."
