Surprise
- sol 🌞

I hurriedly went inside our bedroom to play a silly prank on my husband. The room was dark because the lights weren't on and the only thing somehow lighting the room is from the moon's light that shines through the closed window. The scary mask I've brought with me is somehow still intact despite it being hard to fix as I make it earlier. Somehow contented with what my creation looks like, I wore it to my face grinning at myself. "Kapag nakita niya ako, panigurado takot siya." I let out a small evil laugh as my shoulders shake in laughter. "Who's going to be scared?" Something whispers to my ear in a deep husky voice. I shrieked and took a few steps away but because I did it too quickly, I stepped on my ankle and was about too fall. An arm wrapped around my back, helping me not fall flat down the wooden floor. "Sorry I surprised you." He speaks in a gentle and concerned tone. "Hubby?" I ask. This time I realized by his voice that it was only my husband not a ghost. "Bakit nandito ka na agad, akala ko may work ka pa?" During our conversation early in the morning, he implied that he would be late due to his work getting piled up. "I wouldn't want to be late for our anniversary, wouldn't I wifey?" Though because my eyes still haven't adjusted to the darkness, I think he said that with a smile. It's a shame that I couldn't see it since his smile is what I love the most.  "Susurprise sana kita eh." I pouted which made him laugh a little. "Should I kiss you then?" I didn't answer because I was blushing then I felt him leaning for a kiss. I closed my eyes, anticipating it but I felt him stop as his lips touched the mask I was wearing. He laughs a little and says, "Na surprise mo nga ako, wifey."
