Love with Compassion

I had a rough day. I went home with a stressed look. He looked at me with geniune concern but I was too tired to tell. I went straight to bed even with my work uniform still on. A moment later, I felt his warm hand gently caressing my cheek. He then helped me sit upright and gave me a cup of my favorite tea. I felt a bit teary so I tried to tell what happened but he hushed me. He then kissed me on my forehead and whispered, "It's okay. Rest for now then we'll talk once you feel better."
