(Tony's POV)

Joey came back to get Annie a few hours later. When they left it was just Layla and me.

Layla- Let's go to your house and I'll help you get your stuff.

Tony- My mom helped me pack everything up. We just have to put it in the car and unpack it when we get back here.

Layla- What does your mom think about all this?

Tony- She's actually really happy! She said she's glad that I have someone I can spend the rest of my life with.

Layla- Aww. That's really sweet!

Tony- Yea. Are you ready to go?

Layla- Yup. Are you gonna drive? Or can we both drive?

Tony- How about I'll drive us to move me in and then we can go racing tonight.

Layla- Deal.

Tony- Alright. Shake on it.

I stuck my hand out and Layla took it. Next thing I knew she pulled my hand and smushed her lips against mine.

Layla- There. Deal sealed.

Tony- I love you!

Layla- I love you mostest!

Tony- I see what you did there.

We got in the car and drove over to my parent's house. We loaded the boxes into my backseat.

Mom- Honey! I'm so proud of you! You're finally moving out!

Tony- Finally?

Dad- Well... you are almost 20!

Mom- Layla moved out way before you!

Layla- I'm not the greatest example. I left home at 12 and ended up all alone for 5 years.

Dad- Oh... then we won't use you as an example. But we are proud of you, kid.

Tony- Thanks, Dad!

Layla- And those are words I never heard.

Mom- Well... You're like a daughter to me... so I'm proud of you honey.

Layla- Thanks.

They pulled us in for a hug and I saw a tear on Layla's cheek.

Mom- Alright. You kids should get out of here before I start to cry.

Tony- Bye Mom! Bye, Dad! I love you guys!

Layla- Come on! I'm excited about tonight!

Dad- Uhhh...

Tony- We're going out to race tonight! That's it! Layla!

Layla- Oh... I just heard it. Sorry. He's right... we are just racing!

Mom- Okay... have fun!

Layla and I got back in the car and we busted out laughing. After we couldn't feel our sides... it got quiet. I pulled out of the driveway. Layla had a very weird look on her face. I didn't really know what it was.

Tony- You okay?

Layla- Yea. It was just what your mom said.

Tony- What did she say?
