(Tony's POV)
We finally got home from our mission in Australia. We went to pick up Lucy from Doggy spy school and got the news that she could come on missions from now on! When we all got back to the house, we flopped down on the bed and took a nap. Lucy slept at the foot of the bed, between mine and Layla's feet. Traveling through time and space is very tiring! A little bit later, there was a knock at the door. Lucy got up and ran downstairs. Layla groaned and rolled over, so I got up to go answer it. When I opened the door, I saw Layla's dad.
Tony- Hey Mr. Gray.
Mr. Gray- Just call me Bill, son.
Tony- Okay... So uhh... did you need something, Bill?
Bill- I wanted to check on my daughter.
Tony- Oh... she's upstairs sleeping. She didn't want to get up to answer the door. Hey! Lucy! Chill!
She started to jump up and down, putting her feet up on Bill.
Bill- Oh she's fine!
Tony- I can go get Layla though...
Bill- No that's fine. Let her sleep. So... how have you been?
Tony- Good. We just got back from a mission... so... long flight.
Bill- Where'd you go?
Tony- Aust...
Layla- That's classified.
Tony- Right! Sorry.
Bill- Hey Peanut!
Layla- Hi Dad.
Layla slowly walked down the stairs. Her stomach has healed a lot since she was shot... but she still has a hard time going up and down the stairs and sitting down and standing up.
Bill- You okay?
Layla- Yea... Just takes me a second. It still hurts sometimes. That's what the doctor said would happen though.
Tony- Why'd you get up?
Layla- I heard my dad. I figured he came to check on me.
Bill- I did!
Layla- See... I know some people pretty well... I know almost everything about you, and I know EVERY SINGLE THING about Toretto.
Tony- What?! No, you don't!
Layla- Really?
Tony- Favorite color?
Layla- Purple.
Tony- Favorite animal?
Layla- Duck.
Tony- Favorite snack?
Layla- Poptarts.
Tony- Wow! You really do know me!
Layla- Ya think?
Bill- I guess you guys have been good.
Layla- Yea. For once, things are kinda normal. Until we get out next mission.
