(Tony's POV)

In the middle of our second race, the screen in my car started flashing red and making a loud beeping sound. I began to slow down and when Layla looked over, she had the same confused look on her face. We pulled over and when I clicked on the screen, Ms. Nowhere's face popped up.

Ms. Nowhere- Tony? Layla? Do you copy?

Tony- Yea, we copy.

Layla- We're here.

Ms. Nowhere- Wait a minute... is that Lucy!? Nevermind! I got a mission for the two of you!

Layla- What do you mean two... what about everyone else?

Ms. Nowhere- It's a small mission. You two can handle it on your own!

Tony- Well, what is it?

Ms. Nowhere- Outside of LA there is a criminal race going on. We need it shut down.

Layla- What are they doing that's so bad?

Ms. Nowhere- They are criminals. They are probably getting ready to steal something or are celebrating a robbery that already happened.

Layla- Actually... the races are just to get new members to the team. Not to make a plan or celebrate. They celebrate by going out and spending the money they stole.

Ms. Nowhere- I don't care what they're doing! The agency wants it to be shut down because it could be a bigger problem later!

Tony- Alright. We're on it. Just send us the location and we will head over there now.

Ms. Nowhere- Already done. Please just finish this now so we don't have an even bigger problem in the future.

Layla- We will.

Ms. Nowhere- Go!

Tony- Right. Bye!

She disappeared before I could finish saying goodbye.

Tony- Well that was rude!

Layla- We gotta go Toretto!

Tony- Oh right! Let's go!

We took off towards the road that leads out of the city. On the way there, Layla was kinda quiet.

Tony- Hey. Are you okay?

Layla- Yea. I'm fine.

Tony- Uhh no... you're definitely not fine!

Layla- No I am.

Tony- Layla. You can tell me!

Layla- Fine... those people, those kids, that was me! That was me all those years ago. I don't know what's gonna happen, and going into a criminal race and not being a part of it has never ended well for me...

Tony- Oh...

That's when I remembered what had happened to her brother when she was little. I guess she got scared that the same thing would happen to me or to anyone for that matter.

Tony- Layla. It's okay to feel bad about losing your brother.

Layla- I know! It's just... what are we gonna say? "Please leave because your bad guys?" No!

Tony- How about we blend in for a little bit?

Layla- Like how you did at my race? Yea. That ended really well.

Tony- Well know I have you! You can help me blend in better than before. We just race! See what happens and if they are up to anything! If not, we can just forget it!

Layla- But Nowhere said to end it!

Tony- I know! But if there is nothing going on, then what is there to end?

Layla- Tony. That doesn't sound like the greatest idea.

Tony- Just hear me out! If anything goes south, we just end it all!

Layla- Fine. But if anything doesn't feel right...

Tony- Then we'll finish the mission.

Layla- Okay...

We sped up and headed towards the location of the race. We had a whole conversation about our wedding on the way there. When we arrived, you could definitely tell it was a race. A criminal race... I looked over to Layla, who was still sitting in her car. I walked over and tapped on the window. She snapped out of whatever trance she was in and stared blankly at me.

Tony- Hey. You okay?

Layla- Yea. Just never thought I'd be back here, in a race like this. Being a criminal...

Tony- That's not you anymore. You are a spy trying to shut down this race.

Layla- Shh!! There are other people around. Ones who ARE criminals and will happily kill us if they find a fake! Remember? I tried to have you guys killed at my race.

Tony- Yea. I remember.

Layla- But Shashi won't be here to save you this time. You know, if it wasn't for him, I would have killed you!

Tony- Yea. That was the day I learned you are one dangerous woman!

Layla- You got that right!

Woman- Hi! You here to sign in for the race?

Tony- Yes.

Woman- Now are you a team or single racers?

Layla- Single.

Tony- A team.

Layla glared at me. Knowing we both had to say the same thing.

Both- Single.

Woman- Okay. I'll just have you sign here and pull your cars up to the starting line.

Layla- Alright.

She signed with a fake name and different handwriting. She handed the clipboard to me and I signed with my fake name. I handed the paper back to the woman and got back in my car. We pulled up next to each other and looked over and smiled. She opened the door and got out. I got out and looked at her with a confused face.

Layla- Race doesn't start right away.

Tony- Really?

Layla- Yea! There's probably food over there. We could go talk to people and figure out what they're gonna do after the race. See if we need to shut this race down.

Tony- Okay.

We walked over to a group of people. Mostly teenagers and young adults, which I guess we are still young adults too. Layla walked right up to them, not looking scared at all. I followed, trying not to stick out or be recognized. I grabbed some food off the table and started to walk the direction that Layla had gone. Just then, Layla ran back up to me, knocking the food out of my hands. She grabbed my hand and started to drag me back towards our cars.

Layla- This was a bad idea! Come on! We gotta go!

Tony- What!? Why? What's going on!?

Layla- They're here!

Tony- Who's here?

We made it back to the cars, Layla still all freaked out.

Tony- You gotta tell me what's going on!

Layla- They're here.

Tony- Who is they?!

Layla- Just get in the car! I'll tell you in a minute!

We hopped in the car, turned the keys, changed gears and flew out of the racing track. Everyone turned to face us
