Hadley P.O.V.
Ed went off to go change into his clothes, I stood in my underwear and bra feeling completely naked and shown off to Ed, even with the scare clothing I had on. My skin still tingled with his warm comforting hands and his sweet soft words.
I stripped off my remaining clothes and tossed them to the side of the room. I pulled on my new soft underwear and bra. Then I slipped on Ed’s clothes. The clothes fit the same way from when we were little. They hung loosely on my body, the shorts way to long and the shirt falling to my knees. I had to tie the pants a little tighter to stay on my hips.
“You warmer?” Ed asked coming up behind me. I jumped in surprise. Ed wrapped his arm along my waist and rubbed my shoulder’s enough to warm me up. I sighed in relief in his arms. The touch that traveled between us sent shivers along my skin.
“Yeah thanks.” I smiled trying to getting closer to his warm grip. I wanted to melt into his arms, my body still cold, his arms warm.
“Do you want to go to bed now?” He whispered into my ear. The thunder roared overhead. I jumped yet again quickly turning around and grasped my arms around his neck. I shuddered into his arm, my face hidden in his neck as I stood on my tiptoes and fell into his body. He wrapped his arms around me in comfort.
“Ed!” I heard someone yell from downstairs. “Ed! Come here!” I heard Niall yell again. Ed released me from his grip and we made our way down the stairs to the third floor where Niall Blair and Harry sat talking.
“What’s up?” Ed asked sitting down on the couch, I saw next to him.
“I just got off the phone with Liam. Liam, Louis and Zayn were going to come down to visit us a little later this week but there is as storm.” Niall explained, in his hand he gripped his phone.
“Yes Niall is see the storm right there, it will clear up over night.” Ed assured us his arm wrapping around my shoulder. I could see Harry looking at me, his green eyes taking in every inch of my body, my cheeks flushed red as he searched me.
“No it is supposed to be going for a while, a few days at least, we aren’t supposed to take of the house.” Niall explained.
“Well okay then, we will be okay for a couple days right?” Ed asked Niall. Harry’s eyes glued to my face, I looked at him, we made complete eye contact, another smile spread across his plump lips.
“Yeah of course.” Niall assured us, he rubbed Blair’s leg to assure her of the safety. Over head I could hear the thunder roar I tried to disappear into Ed’s warm side.
“Well Blair and I are going to go watch a movie.” Niall said patting Blair on the back as they walked away. Blair smiled nervously at me. My head ached and I knew I needed a little time alone, just to try and collect all of my thoughts. Harry’s eyes still burned into me. My nerves seemed to make me on edge.
“Ed I am going to get a drink, I’ll be in bed a little while later.” I rubbed Ed’s leg and got up from the couch.
“Okay love.” He replied I leaned down and pressed a kiss to his cheek. Harry’s eyes still glued to me as I walked out of the room. I slowly walked down the stairs but stopped in the bathroom on the way down. I checked my face in the mirror to see if there was a particular reason that Harry’s eyes couldn’t seem to peel away from my mediocre face.
Despite looking like shit, with my un-kept hair pulled into a messy pony-tail, no make-up on my pale face. Other than that Ed’s oversized clothes hung loosely on my small frame. I splashed water in my face, desperately trying to calm myself down.
Then I walked into the quite bar. The bottles behind the counter still lined the walls, filled with all different kinds of alcohol that could offer me my escape. Growing up Ed and I only drank beer, I didn’t even have my first mixed drink until I went to a party, and even then someone else made it for me, so when mixing one I was completely lost. I went behind the counter gazing up at all of the things I could mix together.
