It has been four years since my life changed forever. Four years ago we left for our first tour. Four years ago Ed and I announced our love. Four years ago I moved into his house. Four years ago since everything happened.
Ed fell out of the public eye in these four years. Although he still makes music, has fans, and has tour dates set. The media lost interest in him. He had been with the same girl for four years, lives in the same house, same firey hair, believes the same things, they just kind of forgot. He is still a sensation to most aspiring musicians, to young girls, to anyone. Just not as well known.
We don't see the boys in One Direction as much as we would like. We are lucky if we see most of them a couple times a month. Zayn and Perrie were married a couple years back, Liam engaged, and Niall and Blair are still as happy as ever. The boys we see the most are Harry and Louis, they live in the flat right next to ours, and I have never seen the two of them so happy. They finally announced their love for each other, which I didn't know existed until recently and neither did they. Louis broke it off with his long time girlfriend years ago, finally announcing his sexuality and Harry realized the love he had for the older boy was more then just a friend thing.
They are still in a band but- like Ed- they too fell out of the media's eyes. They grew up, got older, got married, starting having kids, all of that stuff. They still have loads of fans, and play shows, but rarely are they followed with paparazzi. The most important thing- I think- they are still best mates.
Ed and I are finally doing it. After all this time, all these years being friends, the promise he made oh so long ago, it is happening. I am here now standing in my wedding dress, its white, floor length, I feel like a princess. Harry is beside me, looking dapper in his black suit, a smile on his pink lips, his curls gelled back. He had to walk me down the isle. John couldn't do it, it wouldn't feel right having my grooms father walk me down. Harry had to.
"You nervous?" He asked linking my arm.
"You could say that." My voice shaky.
"Don't be." He pressed his lips to my forehead. "You look beautiful." He added. The music started playing. Harry held me tight in the grip of his arm, he lead me, everyone rose in their pews. I caught glance of Ed, standing at the alter, a huge smile on his lips, nothing else mattered.
Harry gave me away, kissed my forehead and took his spot as one of Ed's groomsmen. Ed grabbed my hand, it felt so perfect having it in mine.
The priest started to talk, I didn't listen. One hand held Ed's and the other held my stomach. There our baby was. Two months old hidden under my dress as our secret. Our beautiful magical secret. It got time for the vows.
"Hadley Curtis. All those years ago, you remember I made you a promise? I said "I'll take you away from him, I'll save you, we will get married and we will fly away my little bird. Today is the day I finally fulfill that promise. Today is the day that we get to fly little bird."
