Liam opened his eyes and yawned. How late is it? It was 11 A.M. already.
"Oh wow, someone is finally awake!" Marc said.
"I was sleeping until 11?!" Liam said, puzzled.
"You must have been exhausted after everything that had happened yesterday. I was also sleeping until 10:30."
"I'm glad they didn't play any music today," Liam said.
"Oh, no, they do," Marc added, "But maybe Armin didn't play the music in our room, or we just didn't hear it. On Sundays, we usually have to go to church at 9 o'clock. But since we have house arrest, I guess we're exempt."
"We have to go to church every Sunday?" Liam asked with pain in his voice.
"Yes," Marc said.
"Now I'm glad we both have to stay in our room," Liam laughed.
"Why? Don't you believe in God?" Marc asked in a grave tone.
Liam didn't know what to answer. Did he offend Marc somehow with what he said?
"I'm just kidding," Marc chuckled, "Don't worry, I'm not a believer either."
"Stop fooling me!" Liam shouted.
He threw a pillow onto Marc and laughed. Marc took the pillow, stood up, and went to Liam's side.
"So..." he said and threw the pillow back to Liam, "Don't you forget something?"
Marc sat on Liam's desk chair, which was placed opposite his bed in front of one of the windows.
"Right," Liam said, "I had a dream indeed! I almost forgot. I need to write it down!"
"Yeah, sure. You can do that after telling me, though," said Marc.
"I can already tell you that it wasn't the future!" Liam laughed.
"Why? What was it about?"
"It was about me fainting at the soccer field. It was basically a summary of yesterday. That's it."
"Are you sure it was the same day? Who knows? Maybe you'll pass out again?"
"Nah, I'm sure. It was almost the same situation. I guess it just got stuck in my mind. I still can't really believe it myself. That I saw the future."
Marc clearly expected another more interesting dream.
"Anyways," he said, "Write it down! We have to focus on the progress you've already made. I mean, you remembered a dream after your first try. That's amazing!"
"You're right. It kinda is, isn't it?" Liam smiled, "I'll write it down before I forget the details."
"What details?"
"Just different angles and perspectives. I'll try to write it down as neat as possible. Who knows if it will be useful someday? Even though I still think that this was a once in a lifetime coincidence."
"Don't say that. I need a good oracle once exam season begins!"
Marc laughed and went into the bathroom. Liam was still lying in his bed. He took the notepad lying on the bedside table next to him and started writing down his dream. When he almost finished, he remembered something.
"Hey, Marc!" he said, lost in thought.
"What is it?" Marc went out of the bathroom and was still brushing his teeth.
"I remembered something... But I'm not sure whether I dreamed it or it's my real memories."
Marc finished brushing his teeth and then sat down on Liam's bed.
