I patted around the bed for a little while, my sleepy brain not taking in that nobody was here with me anymore. Opening a single eye, I began scanning the room, looking for Maya; seeing she obviously wasn't here I sat up, rubbing my tired eyes, letting the blurriness wither away. Waking up alone sucked when you fell asleep with a warm embrace and kisses down your neck and collarbone. I stumbled out of bed, soon noticing the balcony doors opened and a waft of humid air hitting my bare skin, I quickly checked the time -2:12AM- and shuffled outside in my bra and grey joggers.

Just who I was looking for stood their. Her hands clung onto the railing, balancing her body. The small pyjama tank top she wore exposed her neck, showing her faded hickeys. Tip-toeing over to Maya, I flung my arms around her waist and sat my head on her shoulder, kissing it once.

"Shit, you scared me," she spoke calmly.

"You scared me, why are you out here?" I ask, tracing lines across her stomach.

My girlfriend entwined her fingers onto mine and removed them from her body, turning around to face me and placing them back, "couldn't sleep, too hot."

I hummed, showing her my understanding, and looked up at her. Her blue eyes looked down to the ground next to me and her lips were turned downwards, into a frown.

"Hey, are you sure that's it?" I ask, "you look unhappy."

"Just stressed out, not sure why," she responded with a sigh, looking down into my eyes, giving me a kiss on the head.

I let go of her, my hands holding hers instead, "you don't need a reason to be stressed out."

"That sounds like the advice I would give you," she chuckled, giving my left hand open mouth kissed as it laid on her own, "Y/n, baby go back inside to bed."

"Not unless you do."

She shakes her head, two dirty-blonde strands of hair falling out from behind her ears. I ignore her, continuing to look into her eyes, swaying our linked hands under us.

"Fine, but i'm coming in with you," she huffed, kissing my cheek and leading me inside.

Maya locked up, pulling the curtains and turned back to me as I sat on the bed, "sing me to sleep will you?" she giggled, sliding onto my lap.

"You're the singer here."

"Stop acting like you are not better than me," she stroked my side, trailing her fingers down to my thighs.

"I'm not acting," I say, pushing her off me so she fell on her side of the bed.

She laughed and we both turned to each other, her arms stretching out, inviting me into her grasp. We sat out of the covers, my head rested on her chest and my knee between hers.

"Shouldn't I be the one cuddling you," I ask, looking up at her for the finale time.

"I prefer this," Maya replied, grabbing the back of my neck and kissing around my face.

Relaxing my head on her chest again, she begins drawing pattens on my bare back with her short nails.

"I love you," I remind her, my hands going to her waist.

"I love you so much more," She mumbled into my head.
