"Hey this isn't fair!" I pant, out of breath from running up the hill, "Wait on me."

"I can't help that you're as slow as a zombie, Y/n," Clawdeen shouts back at me from a couple meters ahead, not showing any sign that she's even out of breath.

I hold onto my hip, now limping, watching as my girlfriend successfully making it to the top. She smiles down at me, showing her sharp teeth as she laughs at me suffering, but walks down to meet me, holding onto my bicep as she leads me up.

The grass tickles my skin as I sit down, trying to catch my breath, "Are you blaming me for being a zombie? I'm sorry I couldn't be born as a wolf like your family wants."

She sits down close next to me, gently dragging her claws down my back, "No, no I didn't mean it like that, I love you for how you are even if you aren't a wolf-"

I chuckled, now facing my girl and holding her hand, "I'm kidding, don't get your fur in a bunch."

Her eyes rolled as she pushes me slightly to the side, though not enough for me to fall. I shouldn't, but every time it's brought up about me being a zombie and my girlfriend being werewolf, I have to take the piss out of the situation we are in - Clawdeen's family aren't the most supportive of that decision, and when I say that I mean her many grandparents and a few uncles and aunties, not the most important people, but they always have to ruin everything with their outdated opinions. They had the same reaction when her older brother Clawd got with Draculora (a vampire), however that died down after a while and we hoped it would be the same for us.

"It's hard to tell sometimes," she kisses my cheek lightly.

A simple touch and I'm all flustered, I turn my head to look at the view, seeing the hill I just attempted to run up after my athletic girlfriend. The sky was dark, with a tint of pink at the bottom from where the sun was about the escape below the horizon. This was now a usual thing we did, I used to have to beg the werewolf to disobey her parents and sneak out for a night and she quickly got used to the tactics for sneaking out her home and soon enough she was begging me to go out every night, but luckily enough I could just ask my dads, no need for the sneaking out.

"How are you not out of breath from running up that hill?" I ask, trying to change the topic, "especially at this time of night."

"This is when I've got the most energy, can't you tell?"

I shrug.

"It's lucky you're a night owl too otherwise I don't know what I'd do...but this hills getting kind of boring now, I've beat you so many times running up it."

I look back to her, now biting my lip, but her big brown eyes are lost in the stars. The moon lit up her face, allowing to make out her beautiful features that I could stare at for hours, she looked so happy.
