"Ew I feel sick," I gagged, dramatically holding my hand to my mouth, tilting my head back.

She shook her head, "Oh well we can't have that," Jade said from the other side of the screen.

I look back at her, my friends smile bringing one to my face, but I hid that with my hand. She was sorting something out while talking to me on facetime; I heard the clutter from her drawers and a pen scratching a piece of paper every so often, I was more than thankful for her to be there even if she wasn't fully paying attention. Leigh was busy so I left her alone (she was the first person I called), Ellie had left the house an hour ago, and I was positive the rest of my friends wouldn't be willing to help me out at 2.am on a Wednesday night.

"Do you need a panic poo?" Jade asked, looking all serious, but I know she was pissing herself under the desk at the old joke.

It was so hard to be serious in front of her, "No it's not that bad," I reply, playfully rolling my eyes, "but come on I need help!"

"I have helped, go upstairs and apologise, what else can you do?"

She keeps on saying this, I'm not the one who's supposed to be apologising - i don't know where Jade is getting that from. Every argument me and my girlfriend have had it's always her apologising to me, or at least us both apologising to each other. I've done it at lease once or twice, but only because she threatened to leave, this time she was just ignoring me and I can only put up with that for so long.

"So can I hang up?" Jade asked.

"Sure.." I look down to my lap, not having anything else to say, "love you."

Her 'love you' was cut off as she ended the call quickly. I leant forward, resting my head on the table that my phone was propped up on, gathering up myself before I headed upstairs to mine and Y/n's bedroom. She had the door shut, but not locked, so I quietly slid in. A frown was stuck on her face as she looked into the mirror on the desk at herself. I don't think she noticed me yet, her hand was halfway between the mascara bottle and her face, she looked to be zoned out, unless she couldn't hear me from the music coming from her airpods. I tried my best to sneak behind her, but I knew I was unsuccessful as soon as her eyes met mine in the mirror.

"Hey," I said awkwardly, trying to sound calm.

She sent me a smile through the reflection, but it didn't last for long, she was still upset. I look down to what she was doing, noticing her make-up box and pot of brushes, I didn't even notice the new wing of eyeliner that was across her eyes. It looked to be smudged at the bottom, she sometimes went for that smoky look, but her puffy eyes told me it wasn't intentional.

"Uh-" Damn where was I going with this again? It's like I lost my trail of thought, everything I prepared downstairs was out the window, "I'm sorry."
